September may mark the transition toward autumn, but Ibiza's calendar remains full of things to see and do, with a mix of live music, traditional celebrations, cultural events and nightlife continuing across the island.
A new guide from Ibiza Spotlight highlights some of the events taking place throughout September, showing that there is much more to the island's late-summer season than clubbing.
Eivissa Jazz Festival
One of the month's major cultural highlights is the Eivissa Jazz Festival, running from September 1 to 5.
The festival brings five nights of jazz to atmospheric locations around Dalt Vila, including the Baluarte de Santa Lucía, Vara de Rey and Reina Sofía Park.
The programme combines local and international musicians, with performances ranging from traditional to contemporary jazz. Some concerts are free, while tickets for others start at €12.
Traditional Celebrations in Jesús
September is also a month for experiencing Ibiza's local traditions.
The village of Jesús celebrates its annual patron saint festivities from September 1 to 27, with the main celebrations taking place on September 8.

Art at the Far de Ses Coves Blanques
Culture continues with SAL+, an exhibition by local artist EL.RoL at the Far de Ses Coves Blanques in Sant Antoni.
Running from September 1 to 19, the exhibition takes inspiration from Ibiza's centuries-old connection with salt.
The lighthouse setting adds another distinctive element to the experience, and admission is free.
Live Music Around the Island
Music remains an important part of September, with several concerts scheduled across Ibiza.
The Sol Post a s'Oli Fest returns to the San Antonio Bay waterfront on September 5, bringing local, national and international artists to the coast. Food trucks and drinks will be available from 20:00, with live music beginning around sunset.
Later in the month, the Dorado Live Shows programme continues with performances including singer-songwriter Carlos Sadness on September 10, followed by the Rock Nights Festival.

The club calendar includes events at Pacha, Amnesia, Hï Ibiza, 528 Ibiza, Cova Santa, Chinois Ibiza, Eden and other venues throughout the month.
Among the early-September highlights are Purple Disco Machine at Pacha, Marco Carola's Music On, Eric Prydz at Amnesia, Glitterbox, Claptone presents The Masquerade and Bedouin's Saga.
