It is no surprise then that it was the image of the soothing sperm whale swimming leisurely in the vast ocean that came to his mind. Just as the dignified sperm whale moves through the sea with grace and effortless elegance, a warm light flows throughout the room and echoes into the night a sense of quiet peace and calm. Matsuyama designed the Cachalot LED Portable Lamp to not only resemble the whale in lissome form and fluid agility, but to behave as the majestic creature in crafting an atmosphere of comforting tranquility, with an innovative light that, like the whale, manifests power and fluidity while remaining warm and always gentle. Portable, wireless, and rechargeable, these lamps appear restful and elegant sitting charmingly on a bedside table, on a bookshelf, to accompany a blissful meal at the dining table, or resting contentedly wherever a tender light is welcomed.
