PROPERTIES

The name Lapis Lazuli comes from the Latin lapis, meaning “stone,” and the Persian lazhuward, meaning “blue.”

It is composed of multiple minerals , mainly Lazurite, Sodalite, Calcite and Pyrite, which provides the stone with truly beautiful golden effects or reflections that attract attention as soon as they are seen.

One of the peoples that used this mineral the most were the Egyptians, for them it was the stone of good luck. For example, they placed it on sacred scarabs or on funerary masks. What's more, it is thought that it was also used as medicine. For this, lapis lazuli was crushed and the resulting powder was ingested.

It opens the third eye and balances the throat chakra. It is a stone that helps to quickly release stress, bringing deep peace. It possesses enormous serenity and brings the key to spiritual realization.

It is a protective stone that connects with guardian spirits. It recognizes the attack, blocking it and returning it to its origin. It harmonizes the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual levels, providing deep inner knowledge when they are balanced. It is a powerful amplifier of thought, brings clarity and objectivity. Encourages creativity.

REIKI

Reiki is a hands-on therapy, a healing method that uses universal energy. This therapy was discovered by the Japanese doctor Mikao Usui. The name Reiki comes from "Rei" which means "boundless, universal" and "ki" which translates as "life energy".  

In Reiki there are several symbols that help us connect with this energy through our hands. There are four main symbols which are Hong-Sha-Ze-Sho-nen, Cho-Ku-Rei, Dai-Ko-Myo and Sei-He-Ki.
