WHAT IS AURA QUARTZ?

Aura Quartz are natural quartzes, usually white quartz, rose quartz, or amethyst, that have been treated with noble metals, such as Titanium, Gold, Silver, Platinum, Niobium, or Cobalt. This treatment enhances the energy of the crystals and gives them a magical appearance, with a wonderful, iridescent or pearlescent shimmer that reflects all the colors of the rainbow, making them ideal quartzes for working with Chromotherapy.

The process of transforming quartzes into "Aura Quartzes" takes place in a vacuum chamber, where metal vapor (or a mixture of them) is "sprinkled" over the quartz at high temperatures, fusing them together. Therefore, these are not dyed or irradiated minerals. It is a more complex and interesting process, and that is noticeable in the result. The quartzes maintain their appearance, transparency, and shape, but acquire new colors and iridescence thanks to the metals used in the process.

The care of Aqua Aura Quartz is more special. These Quartzes, due to their coating with noble metals, are delicate and can scratch, so the use of water and salt is not recommended for cleaning them. To clean them, you can pass your piece through the smoke of natural incenses such as Palo Santo, Sage, Rosemary, or Rue. To recharge them, we can place them on quartz, amethyst, or citrine clusters, or on a Shungite or Selenite Plate. They can also be charged by the light of the full moon.

Rose Aura Quartz, being formed by Rose Quartz, should not be exposed to direct sunlight as it is a photosensitive quartz and the sun can cause it to lose its color.

Rose Aura Quartz or Rose Aura Quartz, is formed by a natural Rose Quartz subjected to a bath of noble metals (cadmium, cobalt, chromium, platinum and nickel). Its appearance is pink, shiny and slightly iridescent.
