John Summit, Mau P and CHRIS STASSY have made history in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs 2026 poll, becoming the first three artists to share the Highest Climber award after each rising 22 places in the ranking.
The three house artists were recognised following the reveal of the Top 100 DJs 2026 results at DJ Mag LIVE at [UNVRS] Ibiza on Tuesday, October 6.
John Summit climbed to No. 24, Mau P rose to No. 55 and CHRIS STASSY reached No. 59.
John Summit reaches No. 24
John Summit has enjoyed one of the biggest years of his career, combining major live performances with the release of his album CTRL ESCAPE.
The Chicago-born DJ and producer also brought back his Experts Only festival, with the second edition taking place in New York.
The two-day event attracted 60,000 fans and featured a wide-ranging lineup reflecting Summit's interests across house and other electronic styles.
His latest Top 100 result places him at No. 24, up from No. 46 in 2025.
DJ Mag also highlights his largest tour to date, including major arena performances across the United States.
Mau P rises to No. 55
Dutch tech-house artist Mau P also climbed 22 positions, moving from No. 77 in 2025 to No. 55 this year.
The rise follows another busy year for the Amsterdam-based producer, including the continued expansion of his Baddest Behaviour brand.
Mau P also held a residency at Pacha Ibiza during the 2026 season, taking his sound to one of the island's most established clubs.
His production output has continued alongside his touring schedule, with recent releases including “Just A Little Bit More.”
The latest ranking gives Mau P his highest position yet in the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs poll.
CHRIS STASSY marks a new chapter
For Dutch house artist CHRIS STASSY, the 2026 ranking arrives during a year of significant change.
Formerly known as Chris Stussy, the artist changed the spelling of his surname from Stussy to STASSY during the summer, describing the move as the beginning of a new chapter.
He also released his debut album, Lost, Found & Forgotten..., and embarked on an accompanying album tour.
His 2026 schedule included his N.A.M.E. free parties and the international expansion of his no-phone event series USS.
He has also continued releasing music through his label Up The Stuss.
CHRIS STASSY now sits at No. 59, up from No. 81 in the previous edition.
A record shared by three artists
The three artists' identical 22-place climbs have created a first in the history of the Top 100 DJs poll.
Rather than a single artist receiving the Highest Climber distinction, Summit, Mau P and CHRIS STASSY share the award.
Their performances are also part of a broader trend visible throughout the 2026 ranking, with house and techno artists making significant gains.
The Martinez Brothers climbed 15 places to No. 28, Michael Bibi rose 11 to No. 37, Solomun moved up 14 to No. 41 and Mochakk climbed 10 to No. 46.
Indira Paganotto also rose 10 places to No. 26 and became the first recipient of DJ Mag's new World’s No. 1 Psy DJ award.
Part of a changing Top 100
DJ Mag's 2026 results show a growing presence of house and techno artists throughout the ranking.
Fred again.. climbed 17 places to No. 16, while several new house names also entered the poll, including Josh Baker, who debuted at No. 40 as the Highest New Entry.
The three Highest Climbers therefore join a wider group of artists whose positions have risen substantially during a year that DJ Mag describes as a potential new era for the poll.
Revealed in Ibiza
The results were announced at DJ Mag LIVE at [UNVRS] Ibiza, where David Guetta was crowned the World's No. 1 DJ for a record sixth time.
Charlotte de Witte retained the World's No. 1 Techno DJ title, FISHER was named World's No. 1 House DJ for a second consecutive year, and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike retained the World's No. 1 DJ Group award.
For John Summit, Mau P and CHRIS STASSY, however, the Ibiza ceremony delivered a distinction of their own.
All three climbed 22 places, making them the joint Highest Climbers in DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs 2026.
