Nicole Kidman has no intention of giving up her Ibiza rave nights, even after accidentally revealing the disguise she uses to enjoy the island’s nightlife without being recognised.

The Hollywood star recently admitted that she likes to go raving in Ibiza and sometimes wears glasses and a little dark wig to blend into the crowd. Now that secret is out, she says she will simply need to come up with a new way to go unnoticed.

For Kidman, it appears the disguise may change, but the raving is staying.

Nicole Kidman: Dinner, Then the Club

Kidman first revealed her Ibiza routine in a British Vogue interview published in August.

Describing her summer travels around Europe, she said her Ibiza nights can involve a small dinner followed by a rave. Her routine, she explained, can mean dinner around 10.30pm before heading to a club at around 1am.

She also explained that she sometimes uses glasses and a small dark wig so she can dance without attracting attention.

The point, she said, is being able to enjoy the experience while surrounded by people she trusts.

Her Ibiza Secret Is Now Out

The disguise became a talking point again when Kidman appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in September.

Asked what she does in Ibiza, the actress simply answered that she dances and goes out to raves.

When Fallon asked about the disguise, Kidman admitted that she had already revealed her wig secret in the Vogue interview.

That means her original strategy is no longer much of a secret.

She Has No Plans to Stop

Giving away the trick, however, does not appear to have changed Kidman’s enthusiasm for Ibiza nightlife.

Instead, she joked that she would have to “wear something different” and come up with a new plan.

The message was clear: the disguise might need an upgrade, but she still intends to get onto the dance floor.

Nicole Kidman Loves a Rave

Her comments are not the first time Kidman has spoken publicly about enjoying rave culture.

In a 2024 interview, she described herself as someone who enjoys smaller parties but also likes going to a rave, and confirmed that she enjoys techno music.

Her more recent comments suggest that Ibiza remains a particularly enjoyable place for her to experience that side of nightlife.

A Very Different Ibiza Holiday

Kidman’s description of her Ibiza nights also offers a glimpse of a celebrity experience that is very different from the usual VIP image.

Rather than simply attending an event publicly, she has described wanting to disappear into the crowd, dance freely and enjoy the night with friends.

The wig and glasses are part of that attempt to maintain some anonymity.

For one of Hollywood’s most recognisable actresses, Ibiza apparently provides a place where she can temporarily become just another person on the dance floor.

The New Disguise Is Coming

Now that the little dark wig has been revealed to the world, Kidman says she will need another strategy.

Exactly what the new disguise will look like remains a mystery.

But one thing appears considerably less uncertain: Nicole Kidman still wants to rave in Ibiza.
