Avicii’s full final set from Ushuaïa Ibiza released for the first time to mark 10th anniversary

Ten years after Avicii played his final-ever DJ set at Ushuaïa Ibiza, fans can finally watch the historic performance in full.
The complete recording of the Swedish superstar’s final show has been officially released for the first time, marking a decade since he stepped onto the Ushuaïa stage for the last time on August 28, 2016.
The more than two-hour performance is now available through the Avicii Community platform, offering fans previously unseen footage from one of the most significant nights in the artist’s career.
Avicii’s final show at Ushuaïa Ibiza
Avicii, whose real name was Tim Bergling, performed at Ushuaïa Ibiza on August 28, 2016.
The performance became particularly significant because it marked the end of his touring career. Earlier that year, Avicii had announced that he would retire from touring, making the Ushuaïa performance his final live DJ show.
Now, exactly 10 years later, the complete recording has been made available to the public for the first time.
Unlike previously released clips, the new footage presents the performance from beginning to end. It was recorded using a GoPro mounted near the decks, capturing Avicii from a close stage perspective throughout the set. The footage has been presented without cuts or additional footage.
For fans who have only seen fragments of the historic night, the release offers an opportunity to experience the performance as a complete set.
A final set filled with Avicii classics
The performance features many of the tracks that defined Avicii’s career and helped make him one of the biggest names in electronic music.
Among the music played during the set are tracks including “Without You,” “Hey Brother,” “Addicted To You,” “The Days,” “The Nights,” “Waiting For Love,” “Wake Me Up,” “A Sky Full Of Stars” and “Levels.”
The set also includes Avicii’s 2016 version of “Forever Yours,” the song he had been developing with Sandro Cavazza around the time of the performance. That version was officially released in 2025 after appearing in footage connected to his final Ibiza show.
The full set is accompanied by a Spotify playlist on the Avicii Community platform, allowing listeners to explore the music featured during the performance.
The letter that announced his retirement
The release also includes a newly shared video showing Avicii writing the letter in which he announced his retirement from touring.
The black-and-white footage shows Bergling preparing the message on his laptop before the Ushuaïa performance.
It adds another emotional layer to the newly released footage, as fans can now see the artist preparing for what would ultimately become his final performance.
A moment already preserved in Ibiza history
Parts of the Ushuaïa performance have been available for years.
Clips of Avicii performing “Addicted To You” and “Levels” were previously released, while footage from the show also appeared in the 2024 Netflix film Avicii — My Last Show. However, the complete performance had never previously been officially released in full.
The timing of the new release makes it particularly significant.
Ten years after Avicii stood on the Ushuaïa stage for the final time, fans can now watch the entire performance rather than just individual moments.
Ushuaïa Ibiza was already closely associated with Avicii during the peak of his career, and the venue became the setting for a performance that would later be remembered as the final chapter of his touring life.
Avicii died in April 2018, aged 28. His music and influence have continued to reach new generations of electronic music fans, with tracks such as “Levels,” “Wake Me Up” and “The Nights” remaining closely connected to the global dance music culture he helped shape.
Now, a decade after his final Ibiza performance, one of the most important recordings from his career has finally been opened up in full.
Watch: Avicii’s complete final set from Ushuaïa Ibiza is now available through the Avicii Community platform.
