Ibiza is about to host one of the biggest nights in the electronic music calendar, as DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs LIVE returns to [UNVRS] on Tuesday, 6 October 2026 for the live reveal of this year’s World’s No.1 DJ.

The ceremony will unfold at the club that has already been crowned the World’s No.1 Club in DJ Mag’s 2026 Top 100 Clubs poll, creating a particularly significant setting for one of electronic music’s most closely watched moments of the year.

The new No.1 DJ will be announced live on stage before taking over the decks for a special performance.

The World’s No.1 DJ Will Be Revealed Live in Ibiza

After months of voting, the wait is almost over.

DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs is the world’s largest publicly voted electronic music poll and has been running since 1993. The 2026 vote closed on 16 September, with the results now set to be unveiled at [UNVRS] in Ibiza.

The artist who takes the coveted No.1 position will follow David Guetta, who currently holds the title after being crowned World’s No.1 DJ in the 2025 poll. It was Guetta’s fifth victory, putting him alongside Martin Garrix and Armin van Buuren as a five-time winner.

The identity of the 2026 winner remains under wraps until the awards night.

Anastazja, Charlotte de Witte, GORDO B2B Vintage Culture, Korolova and Lost Frequencies are all confirmed to perform throughout the night, with the newly crowned World’s No.1 DJ taking the headline slot after the result is announced.

That means the identity of the winner is not the final moment of the evening. The newly crowned champion will immediately step behind the decks for a special DJ set.

From the Awards Stage to the Dancefloor

The format makes the night different from a conventional awards ceremony.

Guetta's 2025 victory was announced in the early hours of 1 October, following the previous evening’s awards event at the Ibiza venue.

The 2026 edition brings the event back for a second consecutive year, once again placing Ibiza at the centre of the global Top 100 DJs reveal.

More Than Three Decades of Top 100 DJs

DJ Mag launched the Top 100 DJs poll in 1993, originally as an editorially curated list. It has since evolved into a global public vote and an annual snapshot of the artists shaping electronic music worldwide.

The 2026 edition is the 33rd year of the poll, continuing a tradition that has seen some of the biggest names in dance music occupy the top position.

Among the previous winners are David Guetta, Martin Garrix, Armin van Buuren, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and Tiësto.

Ibiza Gets Another Major Late-Season Moment

The timing places the ceremony firmly within Ibiza’s final stretch of the 2026 season.
