Description of the Ginkgo Biloba Earrings

Earrings handmade from natural leaves (Ginkgo Biloba). The leaves we use to make our ginkgo earrings come from the wishing tree, a centenary ginkgo where people go to meditate and ask for their wishes to come true.

Available in yellow or rose gold vermeil, sterling silver, or with a brass base plated in yellow or rose gold. The earring hooks are made of silver or gold-plated silver.

Since they are natural leaves, the measurements may vary slightly.

The jewel comes with a card that tells the legend of the wishing tree.

About the Ginkgo Biloba Earrings

The first ginkgo earrings I made, I crafted them with leaves from a tree in El Retiro Park. One Christmas, I went to collect more leaves and found that they had all been cleared from the ground, leaving me without raw material. So, I looked for an alternative and discovered that very close by there was a protected centenary ginkgo.

When I went to collect leaves to make the earrings, I met a Reiki master who was making requests to the tree. He was the one who told me the story of the wishing tree, and while he was narrating it, I noticed that from time to time other people would approach and seem to converse with the tree. Since then, I make ginkgo earrings with leaves from this very special specimen. We like to believe that it can help fulfill the dreams and hopes of those who wear them.
