Anne Stokes is a fantasy artist whose early work appeared in role-playing games, particularly Dungeons & Dragons.
Originally from London, she has been interested in the fantasy genre since her father read her The Hobbit as a child. Anne Stokes has been a professional artist since 2000. She has illustrated for Wizards of the Coast.
She has designed merchandise products for bands such as Queen and The Rolling Stones. As well as many T-shirt designs, one of which was chosen for Mike TV's outfit in Tim Burton's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
Her work is recognized worldwide, filling book covers, calendars, posters, tarot cards, sculptures, mugs, jewelry, and decks like this one.
