Lusitania comes from the Lusitania farm, located in the north of the Valle del Cauca, in the municipality of Caicedonia, Colombia, at an altitude of between 1,450 and 1,650 meters above sea level, in the foothills of the Central Mountain Range.

The farm has been managed by the Macías family for four generations, establishing itself as one of the historic properties in the area for coffee production. Currently, Consuelo and Javier Macías continue to develop the project with a focus on quality and sustainability, maintaining responsible agricultural practices and a long-term vision.

In recent years, the work has evolved with the incorporation of Alejandro Macías, Colombian cupping champion 2023, who leads the development of new varieties and the improvement of harvesting and fermentation processes, with the aim of positioning their coffees in international specialty markets.

The result is a coffee that reflects both the tradition of the farm and its technical evolution, combining knowledge accumulated over decades with a contemporary approach to quality and precision.
