Santa Eulària Opens Free Training Courses in English, Technology and Artificial Intelligence

Santa Eulària des Riu is expanding its free training offer with four new in-person courses covering English, advanced digital skills, artificial intelligence and digital content creation.
The Escola Municipal de Formació has opened registrations for the courses, which will begin during November and December 2026. Each course has 13 places available and is free for participants, with the programme subsidised by the Servei d'Ocupació de les Illes Balears (SOIB).
Four Courses Now Open for Registration
The first course to begin will be English B1, starting on November 3 and continuing until March 10.
The 240-hour programme will run from Monday to Thursday, between 16:00 and 20:00. It also includes the official British Council examination.
The second course, Advanced Digital Skills, begins on November 10. The 60-hour programme will run until November 30, from Monday to Friday between 09:00 and 13:00.
Its focus is on improving participants' ability to use digital tools while increasing their autonomy and confidence with technology.
Artificial Intelligence Takes a Central Role
Artificial intelligence is one of the main new areas in the current programme.
The course Applications Based on Artificial Intelligence will run from November 13 to December 18, with 50 hours of training.
Classes will take place from Monday to Friday between 17:00 and 19:00 and will introduce participants to different AI tools and their practical possibilities.
The programme will also place further emphasis on artificial intelligence during the wider 2026-2027 training year, with future courses covering ChatGPT, other AI tools, practical applications and the fundamentals of generative artificial intelligence.
Digital Content Creation
The fourth course currently available is Basic Digital Content Creation.
It will run from December 3 to 17, from Monday to Friday between 09:00 and 13:00, for a total of 40 hours.
Participants will work with tools for creating content using text, images, video, audio and presentations.
More Courses Coming During 2026-2027
The four courses currently open for registration form part of a broader training programme for the 2026-2027 academic year.
Additional courses will be opened progressively in areas including English A1, advanced Excel, conflict resolution, preventive culture, digital marketing for Meta platforms and advanced digital content creation.
The municipality also plans to strengthen its training offer in artificial intelligence as the programme develops.
The Escola Municipal de Formació describes its wider training offer as free and in-person, with courses designed to improve employability, support professional development and respond to the needs of Ibiza's local labour market.

Registration for the four courses currently available must be completed in person at the Escola Municipal de Formació.
The school is located at Carrer Rafael Sáinz de la Cuesta, s/n, in the lower level of the Municipal Sports Pavilion in Santa Eulària des Riu.

Free Training for Local Skills and Employment
The new courses form part of Santa Eulària's broader effort to make professional and skills-based training accessible to residents.

All four current courses are free, delivered in person and supported through SOIB funding.
