Jazz Point Ibiza is returning for its seventh edition this October, bringing an international group of acclaimed jazz musicians together with some of Ibiza's own homegrown talent for four days of live music.
The festival will take place from October 15 to 18, 2026, but this year comes with a significant change: Jazz Point is moving entirely to The Standard, Ibiza, introducing a new format that combines afternoon rooftop concerts with evening performances at the hotel's JARA restaurant.
A New Home for Jazz Point Ibiza
After previous editions spread across several venues on the island, the seventh edition will be based entirely at The Standard in Ibiza Town.
The new format is designed around two different parts of the day.
Afternoon concerts begin at 2:30pm on the hotel's UP rooftop, while evening performances start at 9pm at JARA.
According to the festival, the move gives Jazz Point a more intimate setting while allowing audiences to experience the music alongside the atmosphere of Ibiza.
An International Line-Up
The 2026 programme brings musicians from across Europe, the Americas and beyond.
Among the international artists appearing are:

- Karolina Strassmayer, German saxophonist
- Maikel Vistel, Cuban saxophonist
- François Moutin, French bassist
- Michael Cruse, American trumpet player
- Florian Arbenz, Swiss drummer
- Tal Cohen, Grammy Award-winning pianist
- Catalina Londoño, Colombian vocalist
- Wayne Escoffery, Grammy Award-winning saxophonist and special guest
The festival's official programme describes the line-up as a combination of internationally established jazz musicians and artists connected to Ibiza's growing jazz scene.
Ibiza Talent Takes Centre Stage Too
The festival isn't only about bringing international stars to the island.
Ibiza-born musicians Pere Navarro and Andrés Coll will both feature in the programme, while Ibiza-based guitarist Norberto Rodríguez will also perform.
That local connection has become an important part of Jazz Point's identity, giving musicians who live or grew up on the island the opportunity to perform alongside internationally recognised artists.
Four Days of Performances
The festival opens on Thursday, October 15, with A Taste of All Festival Artists.
The opening programme brings together several combinations of the visiting musicians, including the Romero Lubambo and Andrés Coll Duo, the Tal Cohen Trio with Catalina Londoño, Karolina Strassmayer with Andrés Coll, and the Maikel Vistel, François Moutin and Florian Arbenz Trio.
Friday begins with The Guitar Masters on the rooftop, featuring Romero Lubambo and Norberto Rodríguez.
The evening then moves to JARA for The Trumpet Masters, led by Michael Cruse and featuring festival All-Stars and Ibiza trumpeter Pere Navarro.
Saturday afternoon pairs Tal Cohen and Catalina Londoño, with Wayne Escoffery joining as a special guest. That evening, several of the festival's leading musicians come together for The Jazz Point All-Stars.
The festival concludes on Sunday, October 18, with the Pere Navarro Trio in the afternoon, followed by From Cannonball to Ornette in the evening, featuring Karolina Strassmayer alongside the Florian Arbenz Trio and Andrés Coll.
More Than Just Concerts
Jazz Point is also expanding its educational side this year.
Several participating musicians will host masterclasses for local musicians, with open sessions focusing on jazz performance and musicianship.
That gives the festival another role beyond entertainment, creating opportunities for musicians on the island to learn directly from international performers.
A Different Side of Ibiza
Ibiza may be internationally famous for electronic music, DJs and superclubs, but events such as Jazz Point highlight another side of the island's cultural identity.
The festival brings together international jazz, live performance, local musicians and an intimate hotel setting, creating an experience aimed at both dedicated jazz fans and visitors looking for something different from Ibiza's traditional nightlife.
And the move to The Standard gives the 2026 edition a particularly distinctive format: jazz on a rooftop in the afternoon, followed by live performances in JARA at night.
With its seventh edition, Jazz Point Ibiza is positioning itself as an increasingly established part of the island's autumn cultural calendar.
