Published on October 05, 2026 at 03:30 AM
Monday, October 5, 2026 offered a packed programme across Ibiza and Formentera, with an unusually strong mix of art, local culture, markets, wellness, food, boat trips and evening entertainment.
From early-morning experiences and exhibitions to the traditional markets of Formentera, daytime beach activities, sunset sessions and the opening of the autumn Tardor d’Art programme, there was plenty to discover away from the island’s nightlife.
Start the Day in Ibiza
The Monday programme began early.
Something of Me at Can Jordi Blues Station in Sant Jordi started from 07:00, while The Grand Breakfast at Ibiza Gran Hotel welcomed guests from 07:30.
At 08:00, visitors could choose between the OKU Ibiza Day Experience, the Around the Island Adventure and Peregrinas at Hotel Ánfora in Es Caná.
The MARE: Marine Biodiversity Exhibition at Vara de Rey and GEAS: Women Studying the Earth in Es Amunts added early cultural options.
Entre Onades i Pigments in Jesús and the Poolside Experience at Ryans Lolas in San Antonio Bay also got underway during the morning.
Wellness, Markets & Local Experiences
Monday morning continued with wellness and traditional island life.
Mercat Pagès in Formentera opened from 09:00, followed by Yoga & Pilates at Casa Munich in Sant Jordi at 09:30.
The Sant Francesc Market began at 10:00, while the Cala Llonga Tourist Train offered visitors a way to explore the resort area.
At Can Rich, the guided tour and wine tasting provided an opportunity to experience one of Ibiza’s local wineries.
The Ethnographic Museum of Ibiza in Santa Eulalia and the various exhibitions in Ibiza Town added further cultural choices.
Museums & Art Across the Island
Art was one of the strongest themes of October 5.
Hotel Life: Ibiza Off Duty continued at Paradiso Art Hotel, while Invisible Worlds remained on display at Ocean Drive Ibiza.
Sa Nostra Sala presented the Fabregat & Vallribera exhibition, while Inner Nature by Carlos Jacanamijoy continued at La Nave Salinas from midday.
The Footprints of the Sun and other autumn exhibitions added further opportunities for visitors to explore Ibiza’s contemporary art scene.
At Studio 55 Gallery in Cala Llonga, The Temple of Excess opened from 17:00, bringing together art and Ibiza’s club culture.
Later in the afternoon, the Literary Creation Workshop at Cas Serres began at 18:00, alongside Ibiza Food Tours and the photography exhibition Un Passeig per ses Salines at Club Diario de Ibiza.
Solar Sessions at The Standard Ibiza provided a more relaxed sunset setting, while A Look at Eivissa from Barcelona continued at the Sant Joan cultural programme.
Formentera's Autumn Art Season Begins
One of the major cultural highlights of Monday was the opening of Tardor d’Art in Sant Francesc.
The autumn programme began with the opening at the Ajuntament Vell at 20:00, followed by the opening of the Centre Antoni Tur “Gabrielet” at 21:00.
The evening then continued with Paz Aguado at 22:00.
The programme marked the beginning of a wider autumn arts period on Formentera, adding a strong cultural focus to the island in October.
Food, Beaches & Day Experiences
Visitors looking for a slower Monday had plenty of daytime options.
The Beach Hop Cruise to Cala Bassa and Cala Conta departed from San Antonio at 11:00, while the Natural Park and Aquarium Boat Trip offered another way to explore Ibiza’s coastline.
Ibiza Coves by Day was also available, with a second sunset departure scheduled for 15:00.
Los Felices, Mongibello and 7Pines Resort all offered dedicated daytime experiences.
Nikki Beach Ibiza hosted its Monday Brunch Club from 12:00, while Aubergine by Atzaró continued Remember Who You Are.
O Beach Ibiza hosted Forward Motion from 13:00, bringing house music and a daytime party atmosphere to San Antonio.
The 4PM CLUB at Playa Soleil then took over from 16:00.
Afternoon Adventures
Monday afternoon offered a mixture of beach, art and outdoor experiences.
The Temple of Excess at Studio 55 Gallery opened at 17:00, while the Literary Creation Workshop and several cultural exhibitions began from 18:00.
For visitors looking to be on the water rather than in a gallery, Ibiza Coves by Day at Sunset provided a later departure from San Antonio.
The Standard Ibiza also hosted its Solar Sessions from 18:00, making it an easy stop for sunset drinks and music.
Sunset & Evening
As the light began to fade, the programme shifted towards music and evening culture.
Un Passeig per ses Salines continued at Club Diario de Ibiza from 18:00, while the Digger screening programme took place at Cine Regio in Sant Antoni.
At 20:00, live music at La Mesa d’Es Vedrà brought an atmospheric option in Cala d’Hort.
Flaherty’s in San Antonio hosted Roberto Campoli Live from 21:00.
Formentera then took over the cultural spotlight with the later Tardor d’Art programme.
Local Festivities
The October 5 calendar also included the wider Sant Miquel festivities and the Cala de Bou and Port des Torrent festivities.
No specific event time was provided for either in the supplied daily programme, so they are best treated as ongoing local celebrations rather than individual timed events.

A Full Autumn Day in Ibiza & Formentera
October 5 showed that Ibiza in autumn is about far more than nightlife.
The day combined local markets, museums, exhibitions, wellness sessions, wine tasting, beaches and boat trips with a strong evening cultural programme.
Formentera’s opening of Tardor d’Art was a particular highlight, while Ibiza offered everything from the marine biodiversity exhibition at Vara de Rey and contemporary art in Salinas to sunset sessions, live music and food experiences.
Even during closing season, there was plenty to explore across both islands from early morning until late evening.
