Charlotte de Witte Donates The Resistance EP Proceeds to Nightlife Foundation

27 September 2026

Charlotte de Witte has released her new EP The Resistance, with all proceeds from the record being donated to The Nighttime Foundation, a global nonprofit working to protect nightlife culture and support the communities that sustain it.

Released on September 24 through de Witte's KNTXT label, the four-track EP forms part of her wider The Resistance project, which also includes an audiovisual live show built around the importance of protecting club culture.

A Four-Track Release

The Resistance features contributions from Theo Nasa and XSALT, alongside a track featuring de Witte's own vocals.

The tracklist is:

  • The Resistance featuring Theo Nasa

  • See Through The Lies featuring XSALT

  • Another Place

  • The Resistance (Intro Version) featuring Theo Nasa

The title track and its intro version feature Theo Nasa, while longtime collaborator XSALT appears on See Through The Lies.

Supporting Nightlife Culture

De Witte is directing the proceeds from the EP to The Nighttime Foundation.

The organisation describes its work around safeguarding the future of nightlife, supporting grassroots communities and promoting nightlife as an important part of culture. It was launched in 2025 through VibeLab's nightlife advocacy work.

The donation connects directly with the central message behind The Resistance project: protecting the venues, artists, crews, communities and audiences that make nightlife possible.

The Nighttime Foundation's Georgia McDonnell-Adams said the support would help the organisation turn its advocacy work into action.

The Resistance Began as an Audiovisual Project

The EP is an extension of de Witte's audiovisual project of the same name.

The Resistance show premiered at UNVRS in Ibiza earlier this year before travelling to other European locations, including Paris and Barcelona. A larger version was also presented at Belgium's Rock Werchter festival in July.

The music and audiovisual production share the same focus on club culture and the communities surrounding it.

A Track More Than a Decade in the Making

Among the EP's tracks is Another Place, a piece that de Witte says has been developing for more than a decade.

She originally wrote the lyrics in Brussels with her friend One Track Brain. The track was subsequently left unfinished before resurfacing years later, when she created a new production around the original vocal.

De Witte has described the resulting EP as a project that is particularly personal to her.

Theo Nasa and XSALT

The Resistance marks another collaboration between de Witte and Theo Nasa, whose contribution gives the title track its vocal element.

XSALT, meanwhile, returns for See Through The Lies, continuing a creative relationship that has already produced several collaborations with de Witte through KNTXT.

Protect Club Culture

The release extends the message behind de Witte's wider The Resistance project beyond the dancefloor.

By directing the EP's proceeds to The Nighttime Foundation, the release is being used to support an organisation working on behalf of the wider nightlife ecosystem.

For de Witte, The Resistance therefore connects her music, live production and advocacy for the culture surrounding electronic music in a single project.
