Patti Low Surprises O Beach Ibiza Crowd With Live Performance of Dance Classic “Not Over Yet”

10 October 2026

A familiar voice from 1990s dance music made an unexpected appearance at O Beach Ibiza on Friday, 9 October, when singer Patti Low took to the stage to perform “Not Over Yet”, the iconic track associated with the British dance act Grace.

The performance took place during O Beach’s Classic Ibiza closing party in San Antonio. Wearing a white gown, Low delivered the dance anthem as partygoers watched and joined in, creating one of the event’s memorable live moments.

Footage of the performance circulated on social media, attracting reactions from fans who recognised the song and its place in dance music history.

The Voice Behind “Not Over Yet”

Patti Low provided the original lead and backing vocals on “Not Over Yet”, first released in 1993 under the name State of Grace and reissued in 1995 as a single by Grace.

The track became one of the defining dance records of the decade, reaching number six on the UK Singles Chart in 1995 and becoming a club favourite internationally.

Grace was a studio project associated with producers Paul Oakenfold and Steve Osborne. Low sang on the original recording, although Dominique Atkins later became the project's frontwoman and recorded the lead vocals for the album version of the song.

Low’s appearance at O Beach gave audiences the opportunity to hear the original vocalist perform the track live decades after its release.

Classic Ibiza Brings Dance Music History to O Beach

The performance formed part of Classic Ibiza, O Beach’s “Then & Now” event celebrating dance music across generations.

The Friday programme featured house music pioneer Todd Terry and DJ and producer Majestic, alongside O Beach residents Cameo, Jamie Love, Lucy Jane, Parris Taylor, Sam Dungate and Juliet Thurbz.

Live musicians Helena Logah on violin, Piano Galligan on piano and Albert Bace on percussion also featured in the programme, combining DJ sets with live performances.

Low’s appearance added another connection to the history of dance music, bringing a vocalist associated with one of the era’s best-known club anthems onto the stage.

A Classic That Still Resonates

“Not Over Yet” remains closely associated with the rise of British dance music in the 1990s. Its original release in 1993 was followed by a successful reissue in 1995, when the song reached the UK Top 10.

The track has continued to feature in DJ sets, remixes and club playlists, connecting different generations of electronic music fans.

At O Beach, Low’s live performance brought that legacy directly to the crowd, turning a closing-season party into a celebration of a song that remains recognisable decades after its release.

The appearance also highlighted the venue’s use of live musicians and vocalists alongside its regular DJ programme, adding a live-performance element to the final days of the 2026 season.
