Alsa has launched 50 fully funded training scholarships for people living on Ibiza who want to become professional bus drivers. The programme covers the cost of the qualifications required to drive a bus and offers successful trainees the opportunity to join the company’s workforce on the island.

Announced on 16 October 2026, the initiative aims to help meet Alsa’s staffing needs while opening a route into a profession that requires specialist training and qualifications.

The scholarships cover the full cost of obtaining the Class D driving licence and the initial passenger-transport Certificate of Professional Competence, known as the CAP. Participants will receive training from accredited instructors and a tailored onboarding plan to support their transition into the company.
