Six young dancers from Resisdance Company in Littleborough have returned to the UK with eight first-place finishes after competing at the Ibiza International Dance Championships.

The dancers, aged between 10 and 17, travelled from the UK to Ibiza to compete in the international event. Across their entries, the group reached 20 finals and secured eight wins, along with five additional top-three podium finishes.

Eight First-Place Finishes

According to Resisdance principal Danielle Lee, the six dancers produced 20 finals appearances during the championships.

Their overall results included eight first-place finishes and five further top-three results.

Lee celebrated the achievement following the group's return to the UK, describing the results as a significant accomplishment for the young dancers competing overseas.

The results mean the group returned from Ibiza having achieved podium success across a substantial number of their competition entries.

Young Dancers Represent Littleborough

The dancers were aged between 10 and 17, highlighting the range of young performers involved in the Resisdance competition group.

Resisdance Company is a dance organisation based in the Littleborough area, offering dance classes for children and young people. A local community directory lists the company as providing classes for dancers aged four to 18.

For the six dancers who made the trip, the Ibiza competition provided an opportunity to perform internationally and compete against dancers from outside the UK.

A Successful Trip to Ibiza

The eight victories were part of a wider set of results that saw the group reach 20 finals.

With five additional top-three finishes, the dancers achieved 13 podium results in total across their finals appearances.

Lee praised the dancers' performance and the achievement of competing overseas, celebrating the group's return with the results shared by Resisdance.

The achievement gives the young dancers a memorable Ibiza chapter to add to their competition experience, while representing their dance company and the Littleborough area on an international stage.
