Nothing New Brings Throwback Anthems to Ibiza Rocks This Monday

September 06, 2026

Monday gets a nostalgic soundtrack at Ibiza Rocks this week as Nothing New returns on September 7, bringing a daytime party built entirely around familiar tracks from the past. Instead of chasing the latest releases, the concept deliberately looks backwards, with the music stopping at 2016 and earlier.

The party runs from 14:00 to 21:00, with Ibiza Rocks Resident DJs providing the soundtrack. Tickets are currently listed from €48 on Clubtickets, with fewer than 50 tickets remaining. A DayPass includes a €40 cashback card for food and drinks at the venue.

Nothing New has a simple idea behind its name. New music is off the menu, with the DJs concentrating on iconic tracks released in 2016 or earlier. The programme moves across dance, R&B, rap and indie, giving the afternoon a broad musical range built around songs that audiences are likely to recognise.

Rather than being a traditional club night, Nothing New is designed as a daytime throwback party. The 14:00 start means guests can spend the afternoon at Ibiza Rocks, with the pool-club setting providing the backdrop while the Resident DJs move through the nostalgic playlist.

The concept is part of Ibiza Rocks' Monday programme for 2026. Nothing New began on April 27 and continues through September 28, with further Monday editions scheduled for September 14, 21 and 28. The final date of the season will feature Robin S performing live alongside the Ibiza Rocks Resident DJs.

Ibiza Rocks has a long association with daytime parties in San Antonio. The venue originally became known for its live music programme after launching in 2005, before developing a broader calendar of pool parties and daytime events. Nothing New fits into the venue's current pool-club format while taking its musical inspiration from a different era.

For September 7, the Resident DJs are the only artists officially announced, so the focus remains firmly on the concept rather than a guest-headliner lineup. The event is aimed at people who would rather hear a familiar favourite than the latest release, with the playlist spanning several styles across the afternoon.

Ibiza Rocks operates an 18+ policy and guests must bring valid original identification. There is no re-entry once you leave the venue, and Clubtickets notes that lineups and set times may be subject to change. The September 7 event also has a last entry time of 20:00.

For anyone looking for a different way to start the Ibiza week, Nothing New offers a straightforward formula: poolside surroundings, Resident DJs and a soundtrack deliberately frozen in time. This Monday, September 7, Ibiza Rocks turns the clock back for another afternoon of throwback dance, R&B, rap and indie favourites.
