Balearic Recycled Art Exhibition in Formentera on Sunday, September 27

September 27, 2026

Sunday, September 27 is the final chance to visit the Balearic Recycled Art Exhibition at the Centre Antoni Tur 'Gabrielet' in Sant Francesc, Formentera.

The collective exhibition brings together 14 artists and artisans from across the Balearic Islands, including Formentera, Mallorca, Menorca and Ibiza.

The artists turn recovered and discarded materials into creative works, using items such as marine litter, reclaimed plastics, repurposed glass, old sails and fishing nets. The exhibition highlights how materials collected from the environment can be transformed through sculpture, craft and contemporary visual art.

The exhibition forms part of the Qué Celeste environmental programme and focuses on creative reuse, sustainability and awareness of waste.

Sunday is the final day of the exhibition, with visiting hours from 11:00 to 14:00 and again from 18:00 to 20:00. Admission is free.
