Teatro Pereyra takes on a distinctly Latin character this Saturday, September 5, as La Cucaracha returns to the historic Ibiza venue for another edition of its summer residency. Starting at 23:30, the night brings together Latin rhythms, live music, dancing and DJs in an intimate setting in the heart of Ibiza Town.
Originally created in Madrid and Puerto Rico, La Cucaracha has arrived in Ibiza for an exclusive Saturday residency running throughout July, August and September. The concept is built around the richness and diversity of Latin music, bringing different generations and styles together rather than concentrating on a single genre.
Expect a broad musical palette across the night, including salsa, merengue, bachata, boogaloo, classic reggaeton and contemporary Latin sounds. The format combines DJ sets with live music, dancing and performances, creating a party where the dancefloor is very much at the centre of the experience.
The setting is an important part of the appeal. Teatro Pereyra is one of Ibiza's historic cultural venues and has been restored as a live music and entertainment space in the centre of Ibiza Town. Its programme combines music with dining and entertainment, giving La Cucaracha a very different atmosphere from the island's large-scale superclubs.
Saturday's edition is one of the remaining dates in the 2026 Ibiza residency, with La Cucaracha also scheduled for September 12 and September 26. The weekly residency has established Saturday nights at Teatro Pereyra as a dedicated meeting point for the island's Latin music community during the summer season.
Tickets for September 5 are currently available from €20 for entry before 01:00, with standard admission from €25. Doors open at 23:30, with the party beginning around midnight.
Teatro Pereyra is strictly 18+, and there is no re-entry. The venue asks guests to dress tastefully and does not permit beachwear, swimwear, flip-flops, open shoes, sleeveless tops or uncovered torsos. Large bags, backpacks, suitcases and similar items are also prohibited.
