Ibiza's cultural diversity takes centre stage this weekend as the Trobada de Pobles returns to the island's fairground on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 October 2026. The free multicultural gathering will bring together 13 associations to share their traditions, music, dances, crafts and cuisine, celebrating the different communities that form part of island life.
Organised by the Ibiza Island Council, the event offers visitors an opportunity to discover cultures from around the world without leaving Ibiza. The two-day programme includes cultural stands, performances throughout the day, a free international food tasting and activities for children.
Two Days of Culture at the Ibiza Fairground
The Trobada de Pobles will open from 10:30 to 20:00 on Saturday, 24 October, and from 10:30 to 18:00 on Sunday, 25 October.
Each participating association will have its own stand where visitors can learn about its activities and explore elements of its cultural heritage. Traditional clothing, crafts, songs and dances will feature alongside other expressions of regional identity.
Music and performances are scheduled throughout both days, creating opportunities for visitors to experience different traditions in one place. The programme is designed for the wider community, bringing together residents, families and people interested in learning more about the cultures represented on the island.
Free International Food Tasting
Food is one of the main attractions of the Trobada de Pobles. A free tasting of dishes from around the world is scheduled on both days from 13:00 to 15:30.
The tasting will introduce visitors to recipes associated with the participating communities, offering a way to discover different culinary traditions and the stories behind them.
The programme also includes a dedicated children's leisure area with workshops and attractions, making the event suitable for families looking for activities over the weekend.
