Beloved songs from Toy Story, The Lion King and Beauty and the Beast will feature in a live performance combining music, singing, dance and fantasy at the Centre Cultural de Jesús on 25 October. The family-friendly show is part of the fifth Santa Eulària Chamber Music Festival and is recommended for children aged three and over.
Families in Ibiza can look forward to a musical afternoon filled with familiar Disney melodies as Les fades dels somnis arrives at the Centre Cultural de Jesús this Sunday, 25 October.
Presented by Ibiza-based artistic company Art3, the show will begin at 17:30 as part of the fifth edition of the Santa Eulària Chamber Music Festival. The production brings together live music, singing, dance and fantasy in an interactive performance designed to introduce younger audiences to the performing arts while offering an enjoyable experience for the whole family.
Rather than a traditional chamber music recital, Les fades dels somnis, which translates as “The Fairies of Dreams”, invites audiences into a magical world where songs help tell stories and bring different scenes to life.
Disney Classics Brought to Life Through Music and Dance
One of the main attractions is the repertoire of familiar songs from popular animated films.
The programme includes You've Got a Friend in Me from Toy Story, Hakuna Matata from The Lion King and music from Beauty and the Beast. These recognisable melodies will be presented through a combination of live performance, movement and theatrical elements.
The show also features choreography, colourful lighting and opportunities for the audience to participate. These elements are intended to make the experience engaging for children while introducing them to the atmosphere and creativity of live music.
Beyond the entertainment, the production explores themes including friendship, respect, courage, empathy and the importance of following one's dreams.
Meet the Ibiza-Based Artists Behind the Show
The performance is presented by Art3, an artistic company from Ibiza that combines different disciplines to create multidisciplinary productions.
The cast brings together four performers:
Together, they combine music and movement to create an imaginative performance that offers a different introduction to chamber music from a conventional instrumental concert.
The show is recommended for children aged three and above, although it is designed to be enjoyed by audiences of all ages.
Part of Santa Eulària’s Fifth Chamber Music Festival
The performance forms the third concert in the fifth Festival de Música de Cámara de Santa Eulària des Riu, which brings four different musical experiences to the Centre Cultural de Jesús throughout October.
The festival has presented a varied programme, from violin and cello performances to a brass ensemble, the family production by Art3, and a closing recital featuring soprano Mar Vives and pianist Marc Laliga.
Following Les fades dels somnis, the festival will conclude on Saturday, 31 October, at 19:00 with Retrats d’amor, a recital exploring different musical interpretations of love through French, Spanish, German and Italian repertoire.
This varied programme reflects the festival’s aim of making chamber music accessible to different audiences, including families and younger listeners.

The combination of well-known melodies, fantasy and audience participation makes the performance an accessible introduction to live music for younger audiences, while the broader artistic programme offers something for adults too.
With the show taking place on Sunday afternoon, it provides an opportunity to enjoy a different side of Ibiza’s cultural calendar beyond the island’s better-known nightlife and beach activities.
