Mel C has found a very permanent way to celebrate her love for Ibiza.

The former Spice Girl has unveiled a new tattoo inspired by one of the island’s most iconic nightlife symbols: the famous Pacha cherries.

The timing was no coincidence. Melanie C was celebrating her fifth summer DJing at Pacha Ibiza, where she has become a familiar face behind the decks during the island’s summer season.

A Tattoo With a Very Ibiza Meaning

In a video shared on social media, Mel C was seen getting a small cherry design tattooed onto her forearm.

The design features the distinctive cherries associated with Pacha — an instantly recognisable symbol of Ibiza nightlife.

For Mel C, however, the tattoo represents more than simply the famous club logo.

She explained that she wanted to mark the occasion of her fifth summer performing as a DJ at Pacha Ibiza, making the new piece a personal tribute to a place that has become an important part of her DJ career.

And there was another reason to celebrate.

Mel C was preparing for one of her biggest Ibiza appearances of the summer.

From Spice Girl to Ibiza DJ

Melanie C first became famous around the world as Sporty Spice, one of the five members of the Spice Girls.

But in recent years, she has increasingly established herself as a DJ and electronic music performer, regularly appearing at major clubs and festivals.

Ibiza has become an important part of that journey.

Her 2026 Ibiza calendar included appearances at several major events, culminating in the Flower Power Closing Party at Pacha on August 29.

The fact that she has now spent five summers DJing at Pacha shows just how closely connected she has become with the island’s clubbing scene.

A Special Night With Roger Sanchez

The tattoo was revealed just before Mel C took to the decks alongside house music legend Roger Sanchez.

The pair performed together at Pacha’s Flower Power Closing Party on August 29, alongside Karen Harding and Sam Oui. Pacha’s official event listing confirms Mel C and Roger Sanchez as part of the lineup.

For Mel C, it was particularly special because she said it was her first time performing at the Flower Power party.

She also revealed that she would be singing alongside Roger Sanchez, adding another memorable moment to her Ibiza summer.

Roger Sanchez himself has a long history with Pacha. The club describes his 2026 Flower Power residency as a return after three decades of performances at the venue.

From Honeymoon to the DJ Booth

Mel C’s 2026 Ibiza connection has also been particularly personal.

The singer married her partner Chris Dingwall in July, before the couple headed to Ibiza for their honeymoon.

They were photographed enjoying the island together, with Mel C sharing glimpses of their celebrations on social media.

During the honeymoon, she also shared moments from a DJ appearance at Chinois Ibiza, including footage of herself throwing her wedding bouquet into the crowd.

So this summer has combined several important moments for the star: her wedding, her honeymoon in Ibiza and another milestone in her growing DJ career.

And now she has a cherry tattoo to remember it all.

Why the Pacha Cherries Mean So Much

The twin cherries are among the most recognisable symbols associated with Ibiza nightlife.

Pacha Ibiza opened in 1973 and became one of the clubs that helped establish the island as a global destination for electronic music and nightlife.

Its cherry logo has since become almost synonymous with the Pacha name.

For Mel C, choosing the cherries for her tattoo therefore creates a permanent connection to one of the most iconic institutions on the island.

Five Summers and Counting

What began as a new chapter in Mel C’s career has now become a recurring part of her summers.
