Dua Lipa has once again chosen Ibiza and Formentera for her birthday celebrations, returning to the Balearic Islands for another summer getaway surrounded by family and friends.

The British-Kosovar pop star turns 31 on August 22 and has already begun celebrating in the Pitiusas, first spending time in Formentera with her siblings Rina and Gjin before heading back to Ibiza.

Back to Her Favourite Island

Lipa has made no secret of her affection for Ibiza. In a recent Instagram post, she described it as her favourite island and said she does not let a summer pass without visiting at least once.

This is also not the first time she has chosen Ibiza for her birthday. She celebrated her 30th birthday in Ibiza last year, surrounded by friends and family.

From Formentera to Ibiza

The birthday trip began with time on the water around Formentera. Images shared during the getaway show Lipa enjoying a yacht trip with her brother and sister, before continuing her celebrations in Ibiza.

Her recent posts have also offered glimpses of some of the destinations associated with her Balearic summers, including Es Molí de Sal in Formentera and Ibiza favourites such as Casa Jondal and DC-10.

A Different Birthday Chapter

This year's birthday comes after a major milestone in Lipa's personal life.

The singer married actor Callum Turner earlier this year, following their engagement and a period of extensive travel together. Her 31st birthday therefore marks her first birthday celebrations as a married woman.

For her pre-birthday celebrations in Ibiza, Lipa has continued her signature holiday style. On Friday, she shared photographs wearing a sleek black dress with an open halter-style back and gold jewellery while enjoying the island with her family.

Ibiza Once Again in the Celebrity Spotlight

Lipa's return adds another major celebrity name to Ibiza's already busy August calendar.

From yacht days around Formentera to dinners, beach stops and nights out in Ibiza, the singer's birthday getaway once again puts the Pitiusas firmly in the international spotlight.
