Sven Väth’s Cocoon Returns to 528 Ibiza for a Five-Arena September Finale

Sven Väth is bringing Cocoon back to 528 Ibiza on Wednesday, September 23, for a day-to-night celebration combining techno across the venue's outdoor stages with an extended nighttime programme.
The event begins at 16:00, with the outdoor programme running until 23:00 before continuing inside until late. The 2026 edition marks another return for Cocoon to the Benimussa Hills venue, following its previous appearances there in 2024 and 2025.
Sven Väth Leads the Line-Up
Sven Väth will headline the outdoor programme, appearing on the Park Stage alongside Julya Karma and Sublee.
Over on the Garden Stage, Richie Hawtin will be joined by DJ Hell and Cassy.
A third outdoor space, the Forest Stage, has been added for the September edition, with Marie Montexier and Franziska Berns performing back-to-back.
Five Areas Across Day and Night
The September event will use five different areas across the daytime and nighttime programme.
The three outdoor stages are the Park Stage, Garden Stage and Forest Stage. Once the outdoor programme ends at 23:00, the party moves indoors.
Sven Väth will then play all night long in Teatro, while Victoria Arena and Cesar Vinzent take over the Club.
The format gives attendees the option of experiencing the outdoor stages during the afternoon and evening before continuing inside without leaving the venue.
Richie Hawtin Returns
Richie Hawtin is one of the most prominent names on the daytime lineup, returning to the Cocoon 528 Ibiza programme for another appearance.
He will perform on the Garden Stage alongside DJ Hell and Cassy.
Hawtin and Väth are both central figures in the development of European techno, making their simultaneous appearances one of the defining elements of the September programme.
Sven Väth Goes All Night
After the outdoor programme ends, Väth will continue with an all-night set in Teatro.
The venue has used the space for Cocoon's nighttime programme in previous editions, and the 2026 event again gives Väth an extended indoor slot.
Cesar Vinzent and Victoria Arena will perform in the Club during the nighttime session.
A Return to Benimussa Hills
Cocoon has a long history on Ibiza, particularly through its association with Amnesia.
The brand was hosted at Amnesia for many seasons before returning to the Benimussa Hills area, where the former Benimussa Park site is now home to 528 Ibiza.
The venue has subsequently become part of Cocoon's Ibiza programme, with the September 2026 event continuing that connection.
From Daylight to Late Night
The event is structured as a full day-to-night experience.
Doors open at 16:00, with the outdoor stages operating until 23:00. The indoor programme then continues until late, allowing attendees with the appropriate ticket to stay on site rather than moving to another venue.
Different ticket options are available, including daytime, nighttime and combination tickets, with some options carrying time restrictions.
Cocoon's September Return
The September event follows Cocoon's other 2026 Ibiza dates, including the May return to 528 Ibiza, the July Cocoon Carry On and a separate summer appearance at Amnesia.
The 2026 528 Ibiza programme has brought together Sven Väth with artists including André Galluzzi, Cassy, Emanuel Satie, Henrik Schwarz, Jonathan Kaspar, Marie Montexier, Nina Kraviz, Richie Hawtin and Robag Wruhme across the season.
