Solomun Takes Over Pacha Ibiza for an All Night Long Set

September 17, 2026

Solomun took over the Pacha Ibiza booth on Sunday, September 6, for a special All Night Long edition of his long-running Solomun+1 residency.

Running from 11pm until 6am, the night put the German-Bosnian DJ at the center of the entire program, replacing the usual +1 format with an extended solo performance.

A Different Format for Solomun+1

The September 6 event formed part of the 2026 Solomun+1 season at Pacha Ibiza, which runs on Sundays from May 31 through October 4.

The regular format sees Solomun share the night with a single guest DJ. The concept has become closely associated with the residency since it began at Pacha in 2013.

For the All Night Long edition, however, there was no guest taking over the decks. Solomun was responsible for the full six-hour session, allowing the music to develop continuously across the night.

Six Hours Behind the Decks

The extended format gave Solomun the opportunity to shape the entire evening himself, moving between different sounds and tempos rather than working around another artist's set.

His musical style has long incorporated elements of house and techno, alongside edits, older discoveries and unreleased material. A six-hour set provides considerably more room for that range to unfold gradually.

The event also reflected one of the defining features of Solomun's relationship with Pacha: the DJ booth has been positioned in the center of the club, bringing the performance closer to the dancefloor.

More Than a Decade at Pacha

Solomun+1 has been a regular part of Pacha Ibiza's Sunday calendar since 2013.

Over the years, the residency has developed around the idea of Solomun sharing the booth with one guest each week, creating different combinations throughout the season.

The 2026 program has included a varied selection of guests, with artists including Skrillex, Peggy Gou and Jamie xx appearing during the season.

The All Night Long format provides a contrast to those collaborations by giving Solomun the entire night.

The 2026 Season Continues

The September 6 event was not the end of the 2026 residency. Pacha's official schedule continues with Solomun+1 dates later in September before the closing party on October 4.

The September 20 edition features KETTAMA alongside Solomun, while the September 27 date features Âme (DJ Set). The October 4 closing party is scheduled as another Solomun All Night Long performance.

Solomun's September 6 appearance therefore represented a change of format within an established Pacha residency, giving the artist a full night to develop his own musical direction from opening set through to the early-morning finish.

For Pacha Ibiza, it was another chapter in one of the club's longest-running weekly residencies, while for Solomun it offered six uninterrupted hours behind the decks.
