Rumours of possible changes in ownership have been circulating around Ibiza's nightlife scene — and now Yann Pissenem has responded with a very clear message: “NOT FOR SALE.”

Pissenem, the owner, founder and CEO of The Night League and Ushuaïa Entertainment, posted the statement on Instagram on Thursday, August 27, tagging The Night League, Ushuaïa Ibiza, Hï Ibiza and [UNVRS].

The short statement comes after rumours and speculation began circulating in recent days and weeks about potential buying and selling activity involving some of Ibiza's major nightlife businesses. According to local reports, several content creators and influencers had even been speculating about which clubs could potentially be acquired and by whom.

Pissenem's response appears to put an end to speculation surrounding his own club empire, at least for now.

The man behind three of Ibiza's biggest clubs

Pissenem is one of the most influential figures in modern Ibiza nightlife. Through The Night League and Ushuaïa Entertainment, he is behind three of the island's most internationally recognised venues: Ushuaïa Ibiza, Hï Ibiza and [UNVRS].

Ushuaïa helped redefine Ibiza's daytime clubbing experience, while Hï Ibiza opened in 2017 as a new generation of multi-room club. In 2025, Pissenem's team launched [UNVRS], described as the world's first “hyperclub”, combining the scale of an arena with the service and atmosphere of a high-end nightclub.

The latest addition has quickly become a major force in the global club scene. In 2026, [UNVRS] was voted No. 1 Club in the World in DJ Mag's Top 100 Clubs poll, becoming the first club to reach the top of the ranking after only one year of operation.

Hï Ibiza, meanwhile, has also enjoyed extraordinary success, having been named the world's No. 1 club by DJ Mag for four consecutive years from 2022 through 2025.

A powerful moment for The Night League

The timing of Pissenem's statement is particularly interesting.

Earlier this year, he was awarded the 2026 IMS Legends Award in recognition of his contribution to Ibiza's nightlife, electronic music culture and the global club industry.

And just last month, Vanity Fair profiled Pissenem as one of the most powerful figures in Ibiza nightlife, highlighting the scale of the business he has built around the island's club culture.

The Night League has also continued expanding beyond its three Ibiza venues, with its wider portfolio including projects such as the Ushuaïa Dubai Harbour Experience.

Pissenem himself has previously spoken about the scale of his operation. In 2025, he noted that for the first time, Ushuaïa Ibiza, Hï Ibiza and [UNVRS] were all operating seven days a week, representing more than 1,500 hours of music across the three venues and 29 resident artists.

So, are Ibiza's biggest clubs being sold?

For now, there is no confirmed sale to report.

What we do have is Pissenem's very public response to the rumours: “NOT FOR SALE.” The statement specifically tags the three major Ibiza venues under his operation, leaving little ambiguity about his position.

Whether the rumours disappear completely remains to be seen, but for the moment, Pissenem appears to be making one thing very clear: The Night League's Ibiza empire isn't on the market.
