David Guetta isn't ready to say goodbye to Ibiza just yet. The French superstar will return to [UNVRS] for a special extra performance on Friday, October 9, extending his Ibiza season beyond his regular Galactic Circus residency.

The newly announced date will form part of UNVRS's Closing Weekend and will mark Guetta's final appearance at the Ibiza hyperclub in 2026.

A Special Extra Night for David Guetta

Guetta's regular Galactic Circus residency is scheduled to conclude on October 2, when he will perform alongside James Hype and Liva K.

The October 9 show is therefore something different: an additional one-off performance created specifically for the venue's Closing Weekend.

Rather than simply extending his usual residency format, UNVRS says the special night will feature a completely new visual production created exclusively for the occasion.

The production will be designed around the venue's large-scale immersive technology, making the October performance different from Guetta's regular Friday shows.

A Final Ibiza Set for 2026

The October 9 performance will be Guetta's last appearance at UNVRS this season.

During his 2026 residency, Galactic Circus has welcomed a series of major electronic artists, including Marlon Hoffstadt, Miss Monique, Meduza, MORTEN, Rivo, Tchami B2B Malaa and others.

Guetta has used the residency to combine his biggest dance anthems with more contemporary club sounds, continuing a relationship with Ibiza that has become an important part of his career.

For the special closing-weekend show, audiences can expect a journey through some of the tracks that have defined his career alongside newer material and club-focused moments.

The Special Guest Is Still a Mystery

There is another reason the October 9 date is attracting attention.

UNVRS has confirmed that a very special guest will join Guetta, but the identity of the artist has not yet been announced.

That leaves one major question surrounding the night: who will join David Guetta for his final UNVRS appearance of the year?

The guest is expected to be revealed closer to the event.

UNVRS Extends Its Closing Weekend

The surprise Guetta date also expands the programming surrounding UNVRS's second-season finale.

The venue's official Closing Party is scheduled for Saturday, October 10, with artists including Adriatique, Dennis Cruz, East End Dubs, Mochakk, The Martinez Brothers, WhoMadeWho and Franky Rizardo, among others.

UNVRS has described the closing as a final showcase of its immersive production capabilities, with its three spaces — Main Room, Wild Comet and The Bunker — each offering a different musical direction.

The venue is also entering its second season after being named DJ Mag's World No. 1 Club in 2026, making this year's closing particularly significant for the relatively new Ibiza venue.

David Guetta's Ibiza Farewell Comes One Day Before the Final Closing

The timing makes the October 9 show particularly interesting.

Guetta will perform on Friday night, followed just one day later by UNVRS's official season closing on Saturday, October 10.

So rather than quietly finishing his Ibiza residency on October 2, the French DJ will return for one final spectacular night, complete with new visuals and an undisclosed special guest.
