A new exhibition celebrating the landscapes, corners and everyday moments of Ibiza and Formentera opens this Friday, October 9, at the Puig d’en Valls Cultural Centre.

Italian artist Sara Michela Morello presents “Art a l’instant”, or “Art in the Moment”, a collection offering her personal view of the Pitiusas through drawing.

The exhibition is organised by Santa Eulalia Town Hall and will be open to the public from October 9 to October 23, with free admission.

“Art a l’instant” focuses on Ibiza and Formentera, using drawing to capture landscapes, corners and moments from both islands.

The exhibition brings together works that document and reinterpret aspects of the islands’ geography, architecture and everyday life.

The exhibition’s subtitle, “The Magic Formula Ibiza – Formentera”, reflects the connection between the two islands that runs through the collection.

Morello is a painter who studied Fine Arts in Italy and lives between Ibiza and Italy. According to the exhibition information, she works with mixed techniques and views art as a form of connection and expression.

Opening in Puig d’en Valls

The official opening takes place on Friday, October 9, at 18:00 at the Puig d’en Valls Cultural Centre.

Visitors will then be able to see the exhibition during its two-week run, with weekday opening hours from 08:30 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 20:00.

The exhibition is open to the public free of charge, making it an accessible cultural option for anyone interested in discovering Ibiza and Formentera through a different artistic perspective.

It also forms part of the wider cultural programme promoted by Santa Eulalia Town Hall across the municipality.
