Saturday night at Chinois Ibiza takes a turn towards mystery and house music as Claptone brings The Masquerade back to Marina Botafoch on September 19, with Pete Tong joining the masked host for one of the final Saturday editions of the 2026 residency.

The party starts at 23:30 and continues until 06:30. Tickets are currently available from €35 for entry before midnight, while tickets for entry before 01:00 are €40 and the current first-release standard ticket is €45. Clubtickets is showing fewer than 50 tickets remaining in each of the currently listed releases.

Claptone and Pete Tong lead the lineup

Claptone headlines the September 19 programme alongside Pete Tong, Alexander Som and Artche. The four-artist lineup is confirmed by the current Clubtickets event listing, with all artists scheduled for the main Masquerade programme.

Pete Tong brings one of the most recognisable names in British electronic music to the Chinois dancefloor. The BBC Radio 1 presenter and DJ has been closely associated with Ibiza for decades, while his DJ sets continue to span house and electronic music.

Alexander Som and Artche complete Saturday's lineup, giving the night a four-artist bill centred on house and electronic sounds.

Enter The Masquerade

The Masquerade is built around Claptone's distinctive masked persona and a theatrical atmosphere that goes beyond the music. The Chinois residency incorporates costumed dancers, elaborate decoration and a visual aesthetic inspired by the mystery, opulence and masked balls of Renaissance Venice.

Claptone is spending his second consecutive summer at Chinois with The Masquerade. The 2026 residency began on May 16 and runs across Saturday nights through October, with the main season closing on October 3 before a separate closing party on Sunday, October 11.

The September 19 edition comes towards the end of an extensive season that has featured guests including Deep Dish, Nora En Pure, Faithless, 2manydjs, The Blessed Madonna, Solardo, A-Trak and Kerri Chandler.

The final Saturday dates

After this weekend, The Masquerade has two more Saturday editions scheduled. September 26 features Claptone, Inner City DJ set, CASSIMM and Bastian Bux, followed by the October 3 party with Claptone, Nora En Pure, Dozie and Diego San Diego. The separate closing party on October 11 features Claptone, Franky Wah, Crusy and Andrea Lane B2B Dario Nunez.

Chinois itself is designed around an intimate, high-production club environment, occupying the former HEART Ibiza space in Marina Botafoch. The venue's interiors take inspiration from the jazz clubs of 1930s Shanghai, combining Chinoiserie influences with contemporary club production.

Important information for guests

Chinois is strictly 18+, and all guests must carry original and valid identification. There is no re-entry. The club operates a classy-casual dress code, with gentlemen required to wear long trousers. Sportswear and open shoes are not permitted, and entry remains at the discretion of the door team.

With Claptone and Pete Tong leading the September 19 lineup alongside Alexander Som and Artche, Saturday's Masquerade brings together established Ibiza sounds and the theatrical identity that has defined Claptone's Chinois residency. With only a few Saturday dates remaining, this week's edition forms part of the final stretch of The Masquerade's second summer at the club.
