7Pines Resort Ibiza has been highlighted in an international lifestyle feature following the August 12 total solar eclipse, with the west coast resort presented as a destination combining Mediterranean scenery, gastronomy, wellness and contemporary hospitality.

Located on the cliffs between Cala Conta and Cala Codolar, 7Pines overlooks the Mediterranean and Es Vedrà. The resort forms part of the Destination by Hyatt collection and currently offers 185 suites and two Grand Villas across 56,000 square metres of grounds.

A different side of Ibiza

Ibiza is internationally associated with music and nightlife, but the island's west coast offers a very different atmosphere.

General Manager Bardia Torabi told Flaunt that the concept is centred on what he describes as “laid-back luxury”, with an emphasis on creating a sophisticated environment without making it feel formal or distant.

Experiencing the eclipse from Ibiza

The resort was also used as a base during the August 12 total solar eclipse.

The astronomical event was particularly significant for the Balearic Islands. Ibiza and Formentera were inside the path of totality, with the Balearic Government confirming that the islands experienced several minutes of totality shortly after 20:30.

It was the first total solar eclipse visible from the Balearic Islands since 1905.

At 7Pines, guests were able to experience the changing light and atmosphere from a west-coast setting overlooking the Mediterranean.

The eclipse has now passed, but the event provided a striking backdrop for visitors staying on the island during the busiest part of the summer.

185 suites across the resort

7Pines currently has 185 suites divided between three areas: the Ibicenco Village, The Laguna and the Cliff.

Some suites have private pools, while others feature terraces or balconies overlooking the gardens, resort or sea.

The resort also has two four-bedroom Grand Villas, each offering more than 220 square metres of space together with private outdoor areas and pools.

The Laguna area is particularly geared towards families, with family-friendly accommodation and access to the resort's wider facilities.

A growing culinary programme

Gastronomy is another major part of the 7Pines experience.

The resort's current culinary offering includes Nela Pop-Up with Óscar Salazar, bringing together the chef's Mediterranean approach with the flame-focused style associated with Nela.

The restaurant operates on the resort's terrace, where the food is combined with views towards the Mediterranean.

7Pines also places an emphasis on locally influenced cuisine and ingredients, with the wider group describing its culinary philosophy as focused on Mediterranean flavours and local sourcing.

Pure Seven Spa offers treatments and wellness experiences, with the current programme including beauty and body treatments alongside more specialised recovery and wellness options.

For guests spending several days at the resort, the spa provides a quieter alternative to Ibiza's more energetic summer scene.
