The Consell d'Eivissa has launched a new awareness campaign using 15,000 stickers across Ibiza's public transport network to make information about support services and emergency communication tools more visible to residents and visitors.

The first phase is being rolled out on buses and at bus shelters, promoting two resources: Espai Savina, Ibiza's 24-hour crisis centre for women who have experienced sexual violence, and AlertCops, the official application that allows users to communicate with Spain's National Police and Civil Guard.

15,000 stickers across buses and bus shelters

The first batch of 15,000 stickers is being placed in visible, everyday locations across Ibiza's public transport network.

The aim is to make information about support and security services easier to find during normal journeys around the island.

The campaign is being carried out by the Consell in collaboration with Ibiza Town Council, which is supporting the promotion of AlertCops and encouraging people to download the application.

The Consell says the campaign may subsequently be extended to additional locations once agreements with other participating organisations have been completed.

Information about Espai Savina

A central element of the campaign is Espai Savina, the crisis centre providing specialised support to women who have experienced sexual violence.

The centre opened in Ibiza in April 2026 and operates throughout the year, with its telephone service available 24 hours a day.

The service provides an initial response and can coordinate psychological, legal and technical support according to the needs of each case.

The centre is aimed at women over the age of 16 who have experienced sexual violence.

The Espai Savina telephone number is 900 009 888.

The free service operates around the clock and provides an initial response, information about the procedures available and access to specialised professionals when required.

The number is one of the main pieces of information displayed in the campaign materials.

The stickers also include QR codes allowing people to access further information through the Consell's website.

Information in three languages

The Espai Savina stickers provide information in Catalan, Spanish and English.

The multilingual approach reflects the range of people who use Ibiza's public transport, while also making the information accessible to residents and international visitors.

The QR code provides a direct route to the relevant information online.

AlertCops offers another way to seek assistance

The second resource promoted through the campaign is AlertCops.

AlertCops is an official security application operated by Spain's Ministry of the Interior, connecting users with the National Police and Civil Guard.

Its current functions include direct chat with police, an SOS button and location-sharing tools.

The application can be useful in a range of security situations and is not limited specifically to sexual violence.

Increasing awareness of the app

Although AlertCops has been available for some time, the Consell says there is still a lack of awareness about its functions and how it can be used.

The campaign therefore aims not only to publicise the application but also to make downloading it easier through the QR codes displayed on the stickers.

The initiative forms part of a broader effort to make support and emergency channels easier to identify and access.

A campaign built around everyday visibility

The decision to begin with buses and bus shelters is intended to place the information in locations people encounter during their everyday journeys.
