The Prisma Lamp designed in collaboration with Walmen Dumaliang was born from the idea of arraying a single 3D-printable shape in a circular pattern, resulting in a detailed form that is both elegant and incredibly strong. This design features a unique living hinge; the lamp's shade is suspended halfway up the base, producing a lovely gradient of light and shadows. putting the pieces together Connecting the shade and the base proved to be a challenge – because of how the shade is printed, it didn't allow for a traditional threaded connection. Instead, Walmen designed the base to have unique levers built into it, which fit into gaps in the shade when the lamp is assembled and give the illusion that the shade is floating above the base. Due to our 3D printing process, each of our products will have minor variations in color and texture. This is part of what makes each item unique!
