Fiesta del Agua Brings Ibiza’s Legendary Water Party Back to Es Paradis This Saturday

There are plenty of ways to spend a Saturday night in Ibiza, but very few involve watching the dancefloor literally turn into a swimming pool. This Saturday, September 5, Es Paradis brings back its legendary Fiesta del Agua, inviting partygoers to dance, sing and get completely soaked in one of San Antonio’s most recognisable nightlife traditions.

The Water Party begins at 23:45 and continues until 06:00, with tickets currently available from €25. Clubtickets is showing fewer than 50 tickets remaining for the September 5 edition.

The concept is simple, but the execution is uniquely Es Paradis. During the night, water jets are activated across the main dancefloor, transforming the amphitheatre-style space into a pool. The club's pyramid structure and openable roof add to the theatrical atmosphere as the party changes from a conventional club night into a full-scale water experience.

Music remains at the heart of the party, with current dance hits reworked in the unmistakable Es Paradis style. One of the traditional moments of the night comes when "I'm Singing in the Rain" signals that the water is about to arrive, sending the crowd into the flooded dancefloor.

Fiesta del Agua is one of Ibiza's longest-running party concepts, having been a major part of Es Paradis's identity for more than four decades. It has become particularly associated with San Antonio and remains one of the island's more unusual nightlife experiences, attracting visitors who want something considerably wetter than the average club night.

Es Paradis itself dates back to 1975 and was designed by artist Lluís Güell, who was also involved in the creation of Café del Mar. The club is built around a large glass pyramid and is known for its white interiors, gardens, columns and distinctive Mediterranean-inspired architecture.

The Water Party is not limited to this Saturday. Es Paradis currently lists further Fiesta del Agua dates on September 7, 12, 14, 19, 21, 26 and 28, followed by October dates continuing into the autumn.

Entry is strictly 18+, and valid identification is required. There is no re-entry once guests leave the venue. Given the central feature of the night, anyone attending should also expect to get wet and plan accordingly.

For anyone wanting a Saturday night that goes well beyond simply dancing under club lights, Fiesta del Agua offers one of Ibiza's most memorable traditions. At Es Paradis this weekend, the dancefloor is not just where the party happens. It becomes the pool.
