Ibiza Town is preparing for five days of creative local cuisine as dTAPASxIBZ 2026 returns this Wednesday, bringing a new edition of its tapas competition to the island’s autumn food calendar.
Beginning October 21 and running until Sunday, October 25, the event invites residents and visitors to explore participating bars and restaurants while discovering specially created tapas. Each establishment presents its own culinary creation, with prices ranging from €5 to €10.
Rather than remaining in one location, dTAPASxIBZ is designed as a gastronomic route through Ibiza Town, encouraging visitors to discover different restaurants, sample their signature creations and support the island’s hospitality industry beyond the peak summer months.
Participants can consult the official event information to find the participating establishments and their tapas, then vote for their favourites. A professional jury will also assess the entries, with the winning tapa set to represent Ibiza at the National Tapas Championship in Valladolid.
The event is listed at MACE, the Museum of Contemporary Art of Ibiza, from 12:00 on Wednesday. Visitors should check the participating venues’ individual opening hours before setting out, as the tapas route takes place across the city.
