Ibiza Port is getting another free open-air party this Friday, September 11, as Chinois Ibiza brings PORTSIDE back to the waterfront for a second edition in 2026.

Following the event's return in June, Chinois has announced another night of free music at Ibiza Port, continuing its PORTSIDE concept under the theme “For Ibiza, With Love.” The event will take place outdoors with Dalt Vila providing the backdrop.

A Second PORTSIDE in 2026

The September event is notable because PORTSIDE has traditionally been associated with a single annual open-air gathering.

According to Discover Ibiza, this will be the first time in four years that Chinois has staged a second PORTSIDE event in the same year. The June edition attracted thousands of people to Ibiza Port for a free afternoon and evening of electronic music.

The September edition continues that idea, bringing Chinois's music outside the club and into one of Ibiza Town's most recognisable settings.

Who Is Playing?

The lineup brings together several artists connected to the Chinois programme.

Mahmut Orhan will perform following his Chinois residency, bringing his blend of deep house, nu disco and indie dance.

Also appearing are Major League DJz, the South African duo of Bandile and Banele Mbere, known for their combination of Afro House, hip-hop and South African musical influences.

The lineup also includes Melanie Ribbe B2B Manu Gonzalez, pairing the German-born, Jamaica-raised DJ and Agápe label boss with Ibiza-based DJ and producer Manu Gonzalez.

Free Music at Ibiza Port

The biggest attraction is perhaps the simplest one: PORTSIDE is free to attend.

The party moves electronic music from the nightclub environment to the open air, giving both residents and visitors the opportunity to experience a major DJ lineup without paying an entrance fee.

The event takes place at Ibiza Port, facing the historic setting of Dalt Vila.

From Chinois to the Port

PORTSIDE has become one of Chinois's ways of connecting with the wider Ibiza community beyond its regular club programme.

The June edition earlier this year featured Luciano, Bedouin and Bruz, bringing thousands of people to the port for an open-air session.

The September edition follows the same basic idea, but with a different lineup and an additional opportunity to experience Chinois programming in the heart of Ibiza Town.

The Night Continues at Chinois

The music doesn't end when PORTSIDE finishes.

Later that night, the action moves back to Chinois Ibiza for its regular Friday programme featuring Major League DJz, with Mahmut Orhan, Alan Dixon and Niiomi also on the lineup.

This creates a full evening that begins with a free open-air event at the port before continuing inside the club.
