Ibiza Trance Event Returns With Six Days of Legendary Parties, From Euphoria to Godskitchen
September 09, 2026
Six days of trance are coming to Ibiza
Trance fans are preparing for one of the most concentrated weeks of the 2026 Ibiza calendar as Ibiza Trance Event returns to the island from Tuesday, September 22 through Sunday, September 27.
Based primarily in San Antonio and the surrounding municipality, the week brings together a collection of established trance and dance music brands across several of Ibiza’s best-known venues.
The programme includes parties at Es Paradis, Amnesia and 528 Ibiza, as well as an official Kevin & Perry boat party. Additional trance-focused events from Armin van Buuren and Markus Schulz are also taking place around the same period, adding even more major names to an already busy week.
Euphoria opens the week at Es Paradis
The official programme begins on Tuesday, September 22, when Euphoria takes over Es Paradis for one night.
The party brand has roots stretching back to the late 1990s, when the Euphoria compilation series became a major name within dance music culture.
Now back under the direction of members of the original team, Euphoria is returning to Ibiza with a combination of current anthems, classic trance and high-energy dance music.
The lineup features Agnelli & Nelson, Dale Castell, Rob Tissera and Steve Kelly, alongside ITE DJs.
Euphoria runs from 11:59pm until 6:00am and serves as the official opening event of Ibiza Trance Event week.
Kevin & Perry return to Amnesia
On Wednesday, September 23, the focus moves to Amnesia for The Kevin & Perry Experience.
The event is based on the cult 2000 film Kevin & Perry Go Large, which helped introduce a generation of viewers to the world of Ibiza clubbing.
The 2026 edition continues the concept’s established mix of nostalgia, comedy and trance-driven clubbing, with a two-room takeover at Amnesia.
The lineup includes Dave Pearce, Ian Van Dahl, N-Trance, Signum, Lange, Seb Fontaine and Ultrabeat.
The event has become a recurring part of the Ibiza Trance Event calendar and remains particularly appealing to fans who remember the original golden era of trance and Ibiza superclubs.
Paul van Dyk leads SHINE Ibiza at 528
Thursday, September 24 brings one of the week’s biggest daytime-to-nighttime events as SHINE Ibiza returns to 528 Ibiza for a special one-off date.
The event begins outdoors from 6:00pm until 11:00pm before moving indoors to the venue’s club space and continuing until close.
Paul van Dyk once again headlines the event, joined by Aly & Fila, Alex M.O.R.P.H., Bryan Kearney, Ciaran McAuley, David Forbes, Fuenka, Anunnakis, One More Time, Seb Fontaine, Edele Andaya, Stephen Kirkwood and ITE DJs.
The current 528 Ibiza listing describes SHINE as a one-day open-air-to-club experience with three stages, reflecting the scale of the event.
A boat party brings trance out to sea
Friday, September 25 takes the celebration away from the clubs.
The official Kevin & Perry Boat Party will head out onto the waters around Ibiza, with Signum providing the soundtrack.
The boat event takes place two days after the Kevin & Perry gathering at Amnesia, effectively extending the film-inspired celebration into the island’s maritime setting.
Godskitchen returns to Amnesia
Saturday, September 26 is arguably the biggest night of the official programme.
Godskitchen returns to Amnesia as part of its Resurrection Tour, bringing one of the most recognisable names from the era when trance and hard dance dominated the UK superclub scene.
The event is especially significant this year because it forms part of Amnesia Ibiza’s 50th anniversary celebrations.
The current official Amnesia lineup includes Ferry Corsten, John O’Callaghan, Lisa Lashes, Paul Thomas, Tall Paul and AJ Gibson in the main room, while the Terrace hosts Fergie Presents Vinyl Sessions, featuring a five-hour vinyl set from Fergie with Jordan Nocturne.
The Godskitchen event runs from 10:00pm until 6:00am.
The party has been described as a revival of one of the defining brands of the superclub era, connecting its original audience with a newer generation discovering trance and hard dance.
Judgement Sundays returns to San Antonio
The final official event of the week takes place on Sunday, September 27 at Es Paradis.
Judgement Sundays was once one of San Antonio’s best-known trance parties, particularly during the genre’s peak in the early and mid-2000s.
The 2026 revival brings Judge Jules back to the venue for one night, alongside several former residents.
The lineup includes Judge Jules, Scott Bond, Tristan Ingram, Vicky Devine and Leonie, with additional DJs and a second-room programme from Ibiza Invasion.
The event runs from midnight until 6:00am and marks the finale of Ibiza Trance Event week.
Armin van Buuren adds another major date
Although not formally listed within the official Ibiza Trance Event programme, Armin van Buuren’s A State of Trance event at [UNVRS] adds another major trance event to the week.
Armin performs an extended set on Monday, September 21, including a special back-to-back format with Argy.
The appearance continues van Buuren’s long association with Ibiza and brings one of the biggest names in modern trance into the same week as the dedicated ITE programme.
Markus Schulz brings an open-to-close set to Eden
Another unofficial addition comes on Friday, September 25, when Markus Schulz plays an open-to-close set at Eden Ibiza.
Schulz, the founder of Coldharbour Recordings, is returning for another extended performance at the San Antonio club.
The all-night set provides another option for trance fans on a day when the official programme already includes the Kevin & Perry boat party.
Why Ibiza Trance Event matters in 2026
Trance is no longer as dominant in Ibiza as it was during the genre’s peak in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
But its audience has never disappeared.
The 2026 Ibiza Trance Event programme demonstrates that there remains a strong international community willing to travel specifically for the genre.
It also shows how many historic trance brands remain capable of attracting attention decades after their original periods of dominance.
Euphoria, Godskitchen, Judgement Sundays and SHINE all represent different chapters in dance music history, while events such as Kevin & Perry demonstrate the powerful connection between Ibiza and popular culture.
A week built around nostalgia and a new generation
One of the most interesting elements of this year’s programme is the combination of heritage and contemporary club culture.
Many of the artists appearing are closely associated with the golden era of trance, but the events are not limited to the audiences who experienced that period first-hand.
The return of Euphoria, Judgement Sundays and Godskitchen comes at a time when younger audiences are increasingly rediscovering older dance music styles, while established trance artists continue to release new music and perform internationally.
The result is a week that looks backwards and forwards at the same time.
San Antonio becomes the centre of the trance universe
While trance events are spread across Ibiza, San Antonio is clearly at the centre of the 2026 celebration.
Es Paradis hosts both Euphoria and Judgement Sundays, while Amnesia stages The Kevin & Perry Experience and Godskitchen.
The wider municipality also hosts 528 Ibiza’s SHINE event and Eden’s Markus Schulz date.
For six days, this part of the island will become a meeting point for international trance fans arriving for a concentrated run of parties rather than a single club night.
September 22 to 27 will be a major week for trance fans
From Euphoria on September 22 to Judgement Sundays on September 27, Ibiza Trance Event offers a full week of parties built around one of electronic music’s most enduring genres.
There are historic brands, major international DJs, boat parties, open-air events and all-night club sessions across some of the island’s most recognisable venues.
For longtime fans, it is a chance to revisit an important chapter of Ibiza’s clubbing history.
For younger clubbers discovering trance for the first time, it offers an opportunity to experience why the genre once had such an enormous influence on Ibiza nightlife.
And with artists including Paul van Dyk, Ferry Corsten, Judge Jules, Agnelli & Nelson, Aly & Fila and Armin van Buuren involved across the week, Ibiza is once again preparing to make September a major month for trance.
