Ibiza's late-summer nightlife calendar has gained another major name, with GORDO officially launching his six-week TARAKA residency at Pacha Ibiza.

The Grammy-nominated DJ and producer opened the residency on Tuesday, August 25, beginning a run of Tuesday night events that will continue through September 29. Pacha describes the residency as GORDO's first exclusive Tuesday residency at the club.

The opening night brought together GORDO with Vanjee, Wade, Gustavo Domínguez and Gala, while Spanish singer-songwriter Bad Gyal was also spotted in the DJ booth during the night.

Six Tuesdays of TARAKA

The TARAKA residency continues every Tuesday at Pacha Ibiza, with GORDO joined by a rotating line-up of established and emerging electronic artists.

The upcoming schedule includes:

• September 1: GORDO, Nicole Moudaber, Sacchi, Harvy Valencia and Tony Guerra

• September 8: GORDO, Shimza, Alex Wann, ARODES, Manda Moor and Gala

• September 15: GORDO, Vintage Culture, Patrick Topping, Sacchi and JØRD

• September 22: GORDO, HoneyLuv, Vanjee and Gala

• September 29: GORDO, Roger Sanchez, Gala and Abril Love — Closing Party

The events run from 11pm until 6am, giving the residency a full late-night format at Pacha.

GORDO Brings TARAKA to Pacha

The residency sees GORDO bringing his TARAKA label and party concept to Pacha for an extended Ibiza run.

Known for his house and tech-house sound, GORDO has built an international profile through tracks including Hombres y Mujeres and Sideways, as well as production work on Drake's Honestly, Nevermind. Pacha also describes him as a Billboard No. 1 producer.

The artist was previously known professionally as DJ Carnage before adopting the GORDO name and moving toward a house and tech-house direction.

A Strong Guest Line-Up

One of the most notable aspects of the residency is the variety of artists joining GORDO across the six weeks.

The programme brings together established names such as Nicole Moudaber, Vintage Culture, Patrick Topping, Shimza, Roger Sanchez and HoneyLuv, alongside artists including ARODES, Manda Moor, Vanjee and Gala.

The closing party on September 29 will feature GORDO alongside Roger Sanchez, Gala and Abril Love, bringing the six-week series to an end.

From Summer Into September

The residency arrives as Ibiza begins moving into its September calendar, traditionally one of the island's most important periods for electronic music.

While August remains one of the busiest months of the season, September continues to attract international visitors thanks to the island's major club nights, warmer temperatures and packed music programme.

GORDO's Tuesday residency adds another high-profile option to the late-season schedule, giving visitors another reason to head to Pacha during the final weeks of summer.

A Special Pacha Collaboration

Alongside the residency, GORDO and Pacha have also launched a limited-edition collaborative TARAKA T-shirt, available through the Pacha Collection.

The merchandise is being offered through Pacha stores in Ibiza and Formentera, as well as online.

With the opening night now complete, GORDO's TARAKA residency will continue every Tuesday until the closing party on September 29.
