Football fans in the Balearic Islands will have the opportunity to see the FIFA World Cup trophy up close when it arrives in Palma, Mallorca, from Thursday, 29 October, to Saturday, 31 October 2026.
The visit forms part of Reyes del Mundo, a nationwide tour organised by the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) to celebrate Spain’s 2026 World Cup triumph and bring the trophy closer to supporters across the country.
The programme in Palma includes two days of public exhibition at City Hall, followed by a special session at Son Malferit football ground for affiliated football clubs. The public exhibition is free to attend.
Where to See the World Cup Trophy in Palma
The trophy will be displayed in the entrance hall of Palma City Hall, at Plaça de Cort 1, on Thursday 29 and Friday 30 October.
Opening hours differ between the two days:
-
Thursday, 29 October: 09:00–13:00 and 15:00–20:00.
-
Friday, 30 October: 10:00–20:00.
The exhibition gives residents and visitors the chance to see one of football’s most recognisable trophies without travelling to a major international tournament.
Admission to the public exhibition is free, making it an accessible opportunity for football supporters, families and anyone interested in the national team’s achievement.
Special Session for Federated Football Clubs
On Saturday, 31 October, the trophy will move to Son Malferit football ground in Palma for a dedicated event for federated football clubs in the Balearic Islands.
The session is scheduled to run from 11:00 to 20:00. Participating teams will have the opportunity to take group photographs with the World Cup trophy.
Unlike the Thursday and Friday exhibition at City Hall, Saturday’s activity is reserved for affiliated clubs rather than the general public.
The initiative is intended to share the national team’s success with the wider football community in the Balearic Islands, including the clubs and players who contribute to the sport locally.
Part of the Reyes del Mundo National Tour
The Palma visit is part of Reyes del Mundo, an RFEF initiative taking the World Cup trophy and an accompanying exhibition around Spain following the national team’s victory at the 2026 tournament.
The tour is designed to allow supporters in different cities and communities to celebrate the achievement and see the trophy in person. Its programme includes stops in several parts of Spain, with further destinations announced as the tour progresses.
In Palma, the event is being organised jointly by the RFEF, the Balearic Football Federation (FFIB) and Palma City Council.
