Forn Can Bufí is taking a selection of Ibiza's traditional sweets beyond the island with the launch of a new WhatsApp ordering service. From November 2026, customers across mainland Spain, the Balearic Islands and the Canary Islands will be able to order four of the bakery's best-known specialities: flaó, orelletes, magdalenas ibicencas and ensaimadas.
The initiative gives visitors, former residents and lovers of Ibiza's gastronomy a new way to enjoy traditional island recipes without having to travel back to Ibiza.
Four Traditional Ibiza Sweets Available for Delivery
The new service will initially focus on four products associated with Ibiza's culinary heritage.
Among them is flaó, one of the island's most recognisable traditional desserts, made with fresh cheese and characterised by its distinctive touch of hierbabuena (spearmint).
Another speciality is orelletes, a traditional sweet closely associated with local celebrations. Their characteristic flavour comes from ingredients including anise and lemon.
The selection also includes magdalenas ibicencas, traditional pastries combining puff pastry and almonds, alongside ensaimadas, a popular Balearic pastry.
Together, these four products represent some of the flavours that have helped preserve Ibiza's gastronomic traditions across generations.
How to Order Ibiza Sweets from Outside the Island
According to the company's announcement, orders can be placed directly through WhatsApp by contacting Forn Can Bufí on:

The announced delivery timeframe is between 24 and 48 hours for mainland Spain and the Balearic Islands, with an additional day for deliveries to the Canary Islands.
The products will be freshly prepared, allowing customers outside Ibiza to enjoy a selection of the bakery's traditional specialities at home.
A Family Business Preserving Ibiza's Gastronomic Heritage
Forn Can Bufí is a family-run bakery specialising in traditional Ibizan products, with a history rooted in the island's baking and pastry-making traditions.
Its story began with founders Juan Bufí and Josefa Ramón, who developed the business around traditional recipes and the preparation of local products.
Today, the company operates ten locations across Ibiza, serving residents and visitors in different parts of the island.
For Josefa Ramón, preserving traditional recipes is an important part of the business's identity. She has highlighted the importance of passing these culinary traditions on to younger generations, particularly recipes closely associated with Ibiza, such as flaó.
The new delivery initiative extends that ambition beyond the island, making traditional Ibizan sweets accessible to people who want to maintain a connection with its food culture, wherever they live.
With its new WhatsApp ordering service, Forn Can Bufí is opening another way to share a taste of Ibiza with customers across Spain.
