The main celebration of the Fiestas de Jesús took place on September 8, but the festivities are far from over.

The village of Jesús continues its annual patron saint celebrations until Sunday, September 27, with a programme that brings together culture, sport, religious traditions, community activities and events for different generations.

More than 50 activities are included across the full month-long programme, organised by the Comissió de Festes de Jesús with the collaboration of Santa Eulària des Riu Town Hall and the Consell d’Eivissa.

For residents and visitors, there are still plenty of opportunities to experience a more local side of Ibiza after the main festival day.

Thursday, September 10: local honey and dancing

The next activity takes place on Thursday, September 10.

At 10:30am, the Centre Cultural de Jesús will host “Mel de Ca’n Marí”, a talk about beekeeping aimed specifically at older residents.

The session will be followed by a tasting of different honeys from Ibiza, combining information about local beekeeping with an opportunity to sample island-produced honey.

The activity is organised by the Department of Social Welfare and requires advance registration by telephone.

At 8:00pm, the programme continues with a community dance at the Club de Mayores.

The day therefore combines education, local produce and social activities for older residents.

Saturday, September 12: sport, a new book and local music

Saturday brings three very different events to Jesús.

At 4:00pm, the Campo de Tiro will host the Fiestas de Jesús clay shooting championship.

Later in the evening, the Centre Cultural de Jesús will host the presentation of “Vendes i Pous, Jesús i es Puig d’en Valls”, a new book by Josep Joan i Marí, known as Pep Xomeu.

The publication is produced by Edicions Aïllades and features photographs by Ramon Mayol. Margalida Roig will introduce the presentation, with the author and publisher also taking part.

At 9:00pm, the Church of Jesús will host “Popejant, un tast de pop”, a concert by the Cor des Pla de Jesús.

The evening combines sporting tradition with local history, literature and music.

Sunday, September 13: a day of religious tradition

Sunday's programme turns towards religious traditions.

At 12:00pm, the Church of Jesús will host a mass and blessing for newborn children and children who have recently been baptised, with the participation of Sa Colla de l’Horta.

A second mass will take place at 8:00pm at the Campo de Tiro in honour of the Mare de Déu de Jesús.

It offers a quieter continuation of the celebrations following the larger events surrounding September 8.

Thursday, September 17: another evening for older residents

The community programme for older residents continues on Thursday, September 17.

A dancing session will take place at the Club de Mayores from 8:00pm.

The event continues one of the recurring themes of this year's fiestas, ensuring that activities are available for different age groups throughout the month.

Friday, September 18: environmental action in Sa Mota

On Friday, September 18, the programme moves outdoors for an environmental activity.

From 6:00pm, participants will take part in an initiative to help recover vegetation at Sa Mota de sa Sénia de Can Siré.

The conservation activity will be accompanied by a traditional dance performance from Sa Colla de l’Horta.

The combination of environmental work and traditional culture gives this event a particularly local character.

Sunday, September 20: Ibiza folklore meets Zaragoza

The event forms part of the 28th Festival Folklòric d’Eivissa Mare Nostrum.

The performance creates a meeting between Ibiza's own traditional culture and folklore from mainland Spain, giving visitors the chance to see different regional traditions sharing the same stage.

Saturday, September 26: mountain biking and youth activities

The final weekend begins with sport and activities for younger residents.

At 5:00pm on Saturday, September 26, the 18th BTT Fiestas de Jesús will take place at Can Lluís de sa Rota.

The mountain bike event is organised by Es Xebel·lí and is one of the established sporting activities within the fiestas programme.

Later that afternoon, from 6:00pm to 9:30pm, Jesús will also host “Joves al Carrer”.

The youth programme will bring activities to the village square for young people, continuing the municipality's wider initiative designed for residents aged between 11 and 18.

Sunday, September 27: the fiestas end with children

The 2026 Fiestas de Jesús officially conclude on Sunday, September 27.

The final event will be the 11th Children's Gymkhana, beginning at 10:00am at Can Lluís de sa Rota.
