Culture Collective Brings Contemporary Art to Ibiza's Biggest Clubs

12 de September de 2026

Culture Collective is returning to Ibiza for its second Ibiza Art Weekend, bringing contemporary art, music, fashion and culture together across [UNVRS], Ushuaïa Ibiza and Hï Ibiza from September 11 to 13.

The collaboration between W1 Curates and The Night League has expanded considerably since its first edition in May, with this weekend's programme featuring 70 international artists and 20 speakers alongside exhibitions, new commissions, live art and panel discussions.

Art Meets Ibiza Nightlife

The central idea behind Culture Collective is to bring contemporary art directly into Ibiza's club environment.

Rather than limiting exhibitions and installations to traditional galleries, the project places artists and creative discussions inside some of the island's most recognisable nightlife spaces.

The September edition includes new artworks, live demonstrations and conversations exploring the relationship between music, visual art, fashion and wider creative industries.

Domingo Zapata Creates a Major New Work

One of the most visible projects is a new large-scale artwork by Domingo Zapata on the exterior of Hï Ibiza.

The piece was unveiled ahead of the weekend's programming and adds another major contemporary artwork to the club's increasingly art-focused surroundings.

The installation forms part of a wider programme that has seen several major artists leave their mark on The Night League's venues during the 2026 season.

A Weekend of Talks and Conversations

The cultural programme began on Friday evening with a welcome reception and a series of talks before the club doors opened.

Among the speakers are UK rapper Tinie Tempah, Hï Ibiza resident Indira Paganotto and The Night League creative director Sam Mooney, discussing the relationship between music and visual art.

Another session, Masters of Modern Art, brings artists Ian Davenport and Mark Dale together to discuss the contemporary art market, while The Women Shaping Culture panel features Coco Dávez, Olivia Steele, Karimah Hassan and Stefanie De Regel.

Further discussions explore subjects including the future of museums and the idea of creative world-building.

Hï Ibiza Becomes an Art Space

Hï Ibiza has already incorporated a significant amount of visual art into its architecture during the 2026 season.

Sir Michael Craig-Martin's Music has been displayed across a 70-metre digital gallery on the rooftop terrace, while PichiAvo and .EPOD have created murals across the exterior walls.

An entrance installation by Pascal Sender also uses projection mapping to integrate digital technology with the physical architecture of the club.

The Ibiza Art Weekend builds on that existing programme rather than appearing as an isolated cultural project.

[UNVRS] Turns Architecture Into Art

[UNVRS] is also playing an important role in the initiative.

A monumental 68-square-metre stone relief by VHILS has been carved directly into the club's façade, turning part of the building itself into an artwork.

The venue's wider art programme also includes futuristic robot sculptures by Hajime Sorayama, light sculptures by Anthony James and marble works by Biondo.

These works have helped establish contemporary art as part of the visual identity of the venue.

From Gallery to Club

Culture Collective reflects a broader change in the way Ibiza's major nightlife venues are approaching art.

The project does not simply place artworks alongside club events. Instead, the intention is to make art part of the overall experience, with installations, architecture, live creation and discussions existing alongside the music programme.

That approach creates a different relationship between nightlife and contemporary culture, particularly for audiences who may not normally visit galleries or museums.

70 Artists Across Three Venues

The second edition of Ibiza Art Weekend brings together 70 international artists and 20 speakers.

The programme extends across Hï Ibiza, Ushuaïa Ibiza and [UNVRS], creating three distinct environments for exhibitions, installations, talks and live artistic activity.

The scale of the programme represents a significant expansion from the inaugural edition held earlier this year.
