Todd Terry and Majestic Bring Ibiza Classics Back to O Beach

12 de September de 2026

O Beach Ibiza is adding a special new event to its 2026 calendar, bringing Todd Terry and Majestic together for an Ibiza Clásico: Then & Now pool party on Friday, October 9.

The event will look back at the dance anthems associated with Ibiza's musical history while also highlighting the sounds that have defined the island during the 2026 season.

Then Meets Now

Ibiza Clásico: Then & Now is designed around the idea of connecting different generations of dance music.

Todd Terry and Majestic will select tracks from across the years, with the programme expected to move between classic house and more recent Ibiza favourites.

Among the artists whose music is expected to feature are Roger Sanchez, Swedish House Mafia, Eric Prydz, PAWSA, Groove Armada and Calvin Harris.

Rather than focusing on one particular era, the concept brings together different periods of Ibiza's dance music culture in a single afternoon.

Todd Terry Headlines the Pool Party

New York house pioneer Todd Terry will be one of the main figures behind the event.

With a career spanning decades, Terry has remained closely associated with classic house and the evolution of dance music, while continuing to perform regularly for contemporary audiences.

His connection with O Beach has already been strong throughout 2026, with multiple appearances at the San Antonio venue during the season.

Majestic Joins the Line-Up

UK DJ and producer Majestic will join Terry for the October 9 event.

Majestic has also been a familiar presence at O Beach this season, appearing throughout the venue's O Beach Music programme.

His involvement gives the event a direct connection between the classic sounds being revisited and the more modern house music shaping Ibiza today.

Live Musicians Add Another Layer

The music will be accompanied by live performances designed to add another dimension to the poolside experience.

Violinist Helena Logah, keyboard player Piano Galligan and percussionist Albert Bace will perform alongside the DJs.

Their live contributions will bring an additional element to the tracks being played, adding the signature live-performance approach associated with O Beach's daytime events.

From Ibiza Classics to 2026 Anthems

The concept is built around the music that helped establish Ibiza as a global dance destination while also recognising the artists and records defining the island now.

That means the soundtrack can move from established house anthems to more recent festival and club favourites.

The result is intended to feel less like a traditional nostalgia event and more like a celebration of how Ibiza's dance music has evolved.

A New October Addition

The event is a newly added date to the O Beach calendar and arrives during the final stage of Ibiza's 2026 season.

October is increasingly becoming an important part of the island's closing period, with venues extending their programmes beyond the traditional summer peak.

For O Beach, the October 9 party offers one more major poolside event before the season draws to a close.

An O Beach Take on Ibiza History

The venue is promising the combination of classic records, modern house music, live musicians and its familiar poolside atmosphere.

That gives Then & Now a distinctly O Beach interpretation of Ibiza's musical heritage.

Rather than simply recreating an old-school party, the event aims to show how the sounds that shaped Ibiza continue to influence the music being played on the island today.

October 9 at O Beach

Ibiza Clásico: Then & Now takes place at O Beach Ibiza on Friday, October 9.

Todd Terry and Majestic will lead the music programme, joined by Helena Logah, Piano Galligan and Albert Bace for live performances.

Tickets are now on sale for the newly announced event, which promises a soundtrack stretching from Ibiza's classic dance anthems to the music defining the island in 2026.
