W Ibiza Brings Together 18 Artists for Summer Art Season Finale

September 18, 2026

W Ibiza brought its 2026 summer art programme to a close on Thursday with a collective exhibition bringing together 18 artists connected to Ibiza's contemporary creative scene.

The event, held at the Santa Eulalia hotel on September 17 from 19:00 to 22:00, was organised in collaboration with local art gallery Olas Gallery.

Rather than presenting a single artist or artistic discipline, the exhibition created a trail through the hotel, allowing visitors to encounter works by all 18 artists in one evening.

An Artistic Trail Through W Ibiza

The exhibition transformed the route from the hotel's entrance through to the W Lounge into a temporary gallery space.

The programme also included an interactive installation and a DJ soundtrack, with the evening ending at the W Lounge, where guests were offered a welcome drink.

The event was free to attend, according to the published event listing.

18 Artists, One Ibiza Connection

The exhibition featured work by Beatrice Poggio, Dolly Gorman, Elizabeth Rose Langford, Eliana Perinat, Fell in Love with the Sky, Francesca Love, Kevin Allison, Lee Needham, Liz Kueneke, Ned Irving, Phrank, Picky Paino, Raul Hood, Roseline de Thelin, Simona Marziani, Sofía Gómez Fonzo, Valentina Bouza and Virgi222.

The artists come from different countries and creative backgrounds, but share a connection with Ibiza and its contemporary artistic community.

Their work covers a variety of approaches to colour, materials, light and the natural environment rather than following one defined theme.

Ned Irving's Under the Surface

The exhibition also incorporated Under the Surface, a permanent installation by artist Ned Irving currently positioned between the hotel's lobby and W Lounge.

The work forms part of W Ibiza's wider relationship with contemporary art and remained integrated into the hotel's spaces beyond the one-night collective exhibition.

A Summer of Art at W Ibiza

The September exhibition marked the culmination of W Ibiza's 2026 collaboration with Olas Gallery.

The partnership has included several different art-focused projects throughout the summer.

One of them was Under the Surface, while another was Dive Into Art: La Isla Bonita, a photographic exhibition by Sofía Gómez Fonzo.

The programme also included a live painting session by Dolly Gorman at Yellow Fish, the restaurant located on the Santa Eulalia promenade.

Contemporary Art Meets Hospitality

The programme reflects an approach increasingly visible across Ibiza's hotels, where art is being incorporated into hospitality spaces rather than remaining confined to traditional galleries.

At W Ibiza, the September event used the hotel's existing architecture as part of the exhibition experience, turning corridors, lounges and communal areas into spaces for viewing the work.

The result was less like a conventional gallery exhibition and more like an artistic route through the property.

Ibiza's Contemporary Creative Community

The event also provided a snapshot of the international and local creative community connected with Ibiza.

The 18 participating artists represent different nationalities, styles and practices, but their inclusion in the same programme highlights the variety of contemporary creative work being produced and presented on the island.

While Ibiza is internationally associated with music and nightlife, events such as this demonstrate another part of the island's cultural calendar, with hotels, galleries and independent artists contributing to its contemporary art scene.

The End of the 2026 Summer Programme

The September 17 exhibition marked the end of W Ibiza's summer collaboration with Olas Gallery.

Rather than being a single standalone exhibition, it served as a final gathering of artists who had participated in the hotel's art programme during the season.

The evening brought together painting, photography, installation and other creative approaches, offering visitors a chance to see the participating artists' work in one location.

For W Ibiza, it provided a final art-focused event before the end of the 2026 summer season.
