Pubblicato il 07 October 2026 alle 00:11

Wednesday, October 7 brings another lively day across Ibiza and Formentera, with plenty happening beyond the island's famous nightlife.

From early-morning island adventures, markets and boat trips to art exhibitions, local culture, sunset experiences, live music and a full programme of closing parties, there are plenty of ways to enjoy the islands from morning until late.

Formentera is particularly rich in culture this Wednesday, with its Sant Francesc market, La Mola artisan market and Autumn of Art programme all taking place, while Ibiza combines outdoor experiences with exhibitions, food, wellness and evening entertainment.

Here is our guide to some of the best things happening across Ibiza and Formentera on Wednesday, October 7, 2026.

Morning in Ibiza: Start Early and Make the Most of the Island

For visitors looking to make a full day of it, the morning begins with several experiences from around 08:00.

OKU Ibiza's Day Experience in San Antonio starts early, while the Around the Island Adventure offers another way to explore Ibiza from the beginning of the day. A Poolside Experience at Ryans Lola's in San Antonio Bay is also available from 08:30.

For those wanting to combine sightseeing with local traditions, Ibiza Island Tour and Hippy Market excursions offer a broader introduction to the island.

The island also has plenty of opportunities for active visitors. A morning social trail run and the regular Wednesday walking experience, which combines nature, countryside and local heritage, offer alternatives to the usual beach day.

At BIBO Park in San Rafael, visitors can enjoy another family-friendly option from 10:00.

Markets and Island Life

Wednesday is an excellent day for market lovers.

The Punta Arabí Hippy Market in Es Caná is open from 10:00, offering one of Ibiza's best-known opportunities to browse crafts, fashion, jewellery, artwork and other independent stalls.

In Formentera, the Sant Francesc Market runs from 10:00 to 14:00, giving visitors the chance to browse local products and enjoy the atmosphere of the island's main village.

Later in the afternoon, the La Mola Artisan Market returns to El Pilar de la Mola from 16:00 to 22:00. It is one of the island's most established traditional markets and remains one of the best places to discover local craftsmanship in Formentera.

Explore Ibiza by Land or Sea

There is no shortage of ways to see the island on Wednesday.

Can Rich offers a guided tour and wine tasting from 10:00 in San Antonio, giving visitors a chance to discover Ibiza's agricultural side and local wine production.

Boat trips also feature heavily throughout the day, including the Captain Nemo excursion to Es Vedrà from San Antonio, the Beach Hop Cruise to Cala Bassa and Cala Conta, and Formentera-focused experiences departing from Ibiza.

For visitors looking for something more active, the Cala Llonga Mini Train and Es Figueral Mini Train offer easy-going sightseeing options, while a sunset kayaking experience from Portinatx provides a more adventurous way to finish the day.

A number of day passes are also available, including Casa Munich in Sant Jordi, Riomar in Santa Eulalia, Mongibello in Santa Eulalia, 7Pines Resort and Los Felices.

Santa Eulalia and the Northeast

Santa Eulalia is another strong option for a relaxed Wednesday.

The Santa Eulalia tourist train runs on Wednesdays from 10:30, offering a sightseeing experience that takes visitors beyond the town centre and towards the surrounding countryside and coastline.

The area also has several beach and resort day experiences, making it easy to combine sightseeing with a slower afternoon by the sea.

Art and Exhibitions Across Ibiza

October brings a particularly strong cultural programme to the island, and Wednesday is no exception.

At La Nave Salinas, Inner Nature opens at 12:00, while the Paradiso Art Hotel continues its 24H Arty People programme from 10:00.

At ADDA Gallery in Ibiza, the Instants exhibition can be visited from 17:00 to 22:00.

In Ibiza Town, the new Joan Costa exhibition, Mirades Perdudes, has just opened and is one of the most recent additions to the island's cultural calendar, having opened on October 6.

The cultural programme also includes the Carles Fabregat and Josep Vallribera exhibition at Sa Nostra Sala, while other galleries and museums continue their autumn programming.

In Sant Antoni, the Núcleo Art Ibiza group exhibition Pulsión creadora y, algoritmo intuitivo? is also running at the Sala d'Exposicions Walter Benjamin at Sa Punta des Molí.

Culture in Santa Eulalia and Ibiza Town

The evening cultural programme includes Donde brotamos and discussion at Teatro España in Santa Eulalia from 19:00.

At Teatro Pereyra in Ibiza Town, Hablar Salva Vidas takes place from 18:00, while Can Ventosa hosts Lletres Compartides with Carles M. Sanuy at 20:00.

There is also a Club de Lectura Verde at Cas Serres from 20:00.

These events offer a completely different side of Ibiza after dark, particularly for visitors interested in local culture, literature and the island's creative scene.

Formentera: Autumn of Art Takes Centre Stage

Formentera has one of the most interesting cultural programmes of the day with Tardor d'Art, or Autumn of Art.

The island-wide arts programme continues on Wednesday across the Jardí de Ses Eres, Centre Antoni Tur "Gabrielet" and Sala d'Exposicions de l'Ajuntament Vell.

The programme includes a second-hand market from 11:00 to 14:00. A collage workshop also takes place from 11:00 to 13:00, although the official programme specifies that this particular workshop is aimed at local schoolchildren.

The Cati Verdera exhibition at the Far de la Mola cultural and educational space is also open from 10:00.

The La Mola Artisan Market then takes over the afternoon and evening from 16:00.

For anyone visiting Formentera during the quieter autumn season, these events offer an excellent way to experience the island's creative community and local character.

Afternoon Adventures and Sunset

As the temperature softens, Wednesday's programme shifts towards sunset activities.

The Musical Sunsets series at Hostal La Torre begins from 17:00, while Solar Sessions at The Standard Ibiza starts at 18:00.

There is also a sunset kayaking experience in Portinatx from 18:30 and Between Two Vines at Ibizkus Winery, scheduled for one hour before sunset.

For visitors who prefer food and local flavours, Ibiza Food Tours in Ibiza Town begins at 18:00, while Miso Hungry at Bambuddha in Santa Eulalia starts at 19:00.

Sa Caleta Restaurant hosts Musical Evenings from 20:30, adding another option for dinner with entertainment.

Evening Events and Local Entertainment

The evening programme is varied, with theatre, music, food and social events spread across the island.

Wednesday Live Music Sessions at EsBirra in Es Caná begin at 17:00, while The Temple of Excess at Studio 55 Gallery in Cala Llonga opens from 18:00.

At ME Ibiza, The Moon Night begins at 19:00.

Over in Santa Eulalia, Miso Hungry at Bambuddha provides an evening food and lifestyle experience, while Bingo takes place at Bambola at Los Felices from 20:30.

The Nightlife Takes Over

Wednesday is also one of the busiest nights of Ibiza's closing-party season.

O Beach Ibiza hosts the House In Paradise Closing Party from 13:00, while Playa Soleil stages the Sunwaves Ibiza Closing Party from 16:00.

At Las Dalias, the famous Namaste experience returns on Wednesday evening, with the event continuing into Akasha.

Pacha Hotel Ibiza hosts the Double Cherry Closing from 20:00 until 01:00.

At [UNVRS], Jamie Jones presents the closing party of Paradise from 22:00, with Jamie Jones joined by Adam Ten, Manda Moor, Mason Maynard and Sosa among the artists on the lineup. Importantly, this is the closing party of the Paradise residency, not the closing of [UNVRS] itself. The venue's official closing party is scheduled for Saturday, October 10.

Pacha Ibiza hosts the Mau P Baddest Behaviour Closing Party from 23:00, while Chinois Ibiza stages the Mahmut Orhan Closing Party from 23:30.

Es Paradis also hosts The Most Beautiful Party from 23:59, while Pikes Ibiza has David Morales on the Wednesday night programme.

Make the Most of Wednesday in Ibiza

October 7 shows exactly why Ibiza is much more than a summer party destination.

The island's autumn calendar combines markets, countryside experiences, beaches, boats, art, gastronomy, local culture and nightlife, while Formentera adds its own strong programme of artisan markets and contemporary art.

For visitors looking for the traditional Ibiza experience, there are still plenty of closing parties and major club nights. For everyone else, there is an equally compelling side of the islands waiting from early morning onwards.

Wednesday, October 7 is a perfect example of how much there is to do across Ibiza and Formentera when you look beyond the clubs.
