Saturday, October 3, 2026 brings a packed programme to Ibiza and Formentera, with local markets, traditional celebrations, live music, exhibitions, sport, family activities, boat trips and cultural events taking place from early morning until late evening.

It is also a particularly busy day for local events.

La Verbenita takes over Vara de Rey in Ibiza Town, Sonorama Ribera Goes to Ibiza reaches its main Saturday programme in Cala de Bou, Tanit Beach hosts Oktoberfest, Sant Miquel celebrates the third Balansat Balla Festival and Formentera hosts its annual island triathlon.

Across the islands, visitors can also explore markets, museums, exhibitions, nature experiences, wellness activities and evening performances.

Markets get Saturday started

The Mercadillo de Sant Jordi begins from 08:00 and continues through the afternoon. It is Ibiza's well-known Saturday flea market, with second-hand goods, furniture, books, clothing, records and other finds.

Las Dalias opens its Saturday Hippy Market in San Carlos from 10:00. The market continues into the autumn with its familiar mix of fashion, jewellery, crafts, art and food.

Forada Market runs from 10:00 to 16:00, offering local products, crafts and produce in its countryside setting.

The San José ecological food and craft market is also open today from 09:30 to 13:30, and this is the final Saturday market of the 2026 season.

Formentera has its Sant Francesc market from 10:00, while the island's second-hand market runs from 11:00 to 14:00 in the Jardí de ses Eres.

La Verbenita takes over Vara de Rey

From 12:00, La Verbenita Club transforms Vara de Rey into an open-air street party.

The programme combines food, music, rumba and salsa influences, with the Spanish tortilla competition forming one of the day's main attractions.

The wider event runs through the afternoon and evening, with the organisers presenting it as a 12-hour celebration in the centre of Ibiza Town.

Sonorama Ribera reaches its main Ibiza day

Sonorama Ribera Goes to Ibiza continues today at Venice Bay in Cala de Bou.

The Saturday programme starts at 13:00 with Bouza vs Dylan at the Cinerama space at Hotel Grand Paradiso.

Venice Bay opens at 16:45, with the main concert programme starting at approximately 17:00.

Anabel Lee, Peter Colours, Anni B Sweet in an acoustic performance, Statuas d Sal, Tu Otra Bonita and Marlena form today's main musical programme.

The festival closes its Ibiza edition with live music, food and drinks beside the bay.

Oktoberfest at Tanit Beach

Tanit Beach Ibiza brings its Oktoberfest celebration to Playa d'en Bossa from 13:00.

The event combines German-inspired food and beer with music, themed entertainment and traditional outfits.

Guests are encouraged to dress for the occasion, with a prize for the best costume.

Balansat Balla celebrates Ibizan tradition

Sant Miquel hosts the third Festival Balansat Balla today.

The afternoon begins at 18:30 with a parade through the village, arriving at the main square.

The festival itself opens at 19:00 with traditional music, singing and dance.

The programme includes the Colla Balansat, Colla de Formentera, Aires des Pla de Marratxí, Bastoners de Sant Cugat, Stella Roselló and several traditional singers and performers.

Admission is free.

Sant Miquel also opens its pool for families

The wider Sant Miquel patron saint programme includes an open morning at the municipal swimming pool from 09:30.

The activity features water inflatables and family entertainment and forms part of the village festivities.

Formentera Triathlon takes over Es Pujols

Sport is a major part of today's Formentera programme with the XII Triatló Illa de Formentera.

Bib collection takes place at Plaça de Europa in Es Pujols from 09:30 to 13:30.

The Sprint and Sprint Relay competitions start at 14:15, while the Olympic distance starts at 16:00.

The Olympic course covers 1.5 kilometres of swimming, 40 kilometres of cycling and 10 kilometres of running. The Sprint distance covers 750 metres swimming, 20 kilometres cycling and 5 kilometres running.

The awards ceremony is scheduled for approximately 19:30 at Plaça de Europa.

COBRA Race returns to Ibiza

The second edition of COBRA Race Ibiza takes place at the Recinto Ferial FECOEV today.

The hybrid competition combines running with functional exercise stations and is scheduled throughout the day.

Current event information places the event from 08:00 to 19:00.

The Trofeo Familia Marí Mayans fills the Bay of Ibiza

The Trofeo Familia Marí Mayans takes place today and Sunday in the Bay of Ibiza.

The regatta is part of the 2026 sailing calendar of the Federació Balear de Vela and is organised by Club Nàutic Ibiza.

Today's competition forms part of a two-day Optimist event.

Cosmic Sound begins the day in Portinatx

At Nômade Temple Ibiza, the Cosmic Sound programme continues today.

The morning starts at 08:00 with a meditation session beneath the Willow Tree.

The wider Cosmic Sound exhibition itself is open from 11:00 to 20:00, bringing together sound, contemporary art, collectible design and listening experiences.

Today's evening programme includes a special Dante's HiFi session at 20:00.

A morning of wellness

Saturday begins with a wide selection of wellness sessions.

Mongibello hosts morning yoga from 08:00, Hotel Riomar from 08:30, Hostal La Torre offers Yoga by the Sea from 09:00 and Casa Munich has yoga and Pilates from 09:30.

The After Workout Club at The Unexpected Ibiza Hotel also returns for its final scheduled 2026 date, combining a fitness session with breakfast, drinks and a DJ set.

Art across Ibiza

October's exhibition calendar remains busy.

The MARE marine biodiversity exhibition continues outdoors along Vara de Rey, where 32 photographs from MARE FOTO explore the Balearic marine environment. The exhibition remains installed until October 15.

In Dalt Vila, the Museu Puget is open today, while MACE offers its current contemporary art programme.

The Museu Diocesà is also open during the morning.

Museo Casa Broner provides another cultural stop in the fortified city.

At Ocean Drive Ibiza, Tahirah Luck's Invisible Worlds continues through October 15.

At Paradiso Ibiza Art Hotel, Instants by Camille Villegas and the Nephthys Illustrated Exhibition remain on display.

Time & Light reaches its final day

Amparo López's Time & Light in Ibiza at the Sant Jaume 72 Exhibition Hall in Santa Eulària ends today.

The exhibition can be visited from 10:00 to 13:30 and from 17:00 to 20:00.

It offers one final opportunity to see the exhibition before it closes on October 3.

The Footprints of the Sun continues in Santa Eulària

Marcel Boer's The Footprints of the Sun remains open at Waves Gallery.

Today's visiting hours are 11:00 to 14:00 and 18:00 to 21:00.

The exhibition continues through October 24.

A children's ceramics workshop at Sa Caleta

Families can join a free children's ceramics workshop at the Centre d'Interpretació Sa Caleta from 11:00 to 13:00.

The activity is organised by the Consell d'Eivissa and is aimed at children aged six and over.

Advance registration is required and places are limited.

Virtual reality workshop

A free virtual-reality workshop takes place today from 10:00 to 13:00.

The October 3 session is scheduled at the Espai Cultural Molí d'en Simó and forms part of the 2026 programme introducing participants to the cosmos and Ibiza's heritage through virtual reality.

A Long Journey premieres in Ibiza

At 19:00, Sa Peixateria in Ibiza Town hosts the premiere of A Long Journey, a short film by Javier Guillot and Santi Rodríguez centred on travel, inclusion and a young girl with Down syndrome.

The approximately 25-to-30-minute film follows a journey from Valencia to Ibiza.

The presentation also includes a round table, tasting and raffle.

Admission is free.

Eivissa Clàssica opens its 2026 programme

Can Ventosa hosts the first Eivissa Clàssica concert of the 2026 season at 20:30.

Spiritillo Mediterraneo, performed by Cristina Prats Costa and friends, explores a Baroque programme connecting Italian and Spanish music through dance, melody, rhythm and improvisation.

Doors open at 20:00, with tickets from €8 in advance.

LANA comes to Cas Serres

The Consell d'Eivissa's autumn dance programme continues tonight with LANA by Osa+Mujika.

The contemporary dance performance takes place at the Cas Serres Auditorium from 20:00.

The production is aimed at audiences aged 12 and over and forms part of the island's 2026 dance season.

WHO closes at Teatro Pereyra

WHO reaches its final scheduled performance at Teatro Pereyra tonight.

The immersive evening combines live performance, dining and music, with the October 3 date marking the end of its 2026 run.

The show begins at around 20:30.

Music from afternoon into the evening

Can Jordi Blues Station hosts Leilah B. Band from 13:00 to 15:00, with a set of folk-rock covers.

In Sant Josep, Soniquete performs at Cas Mestre from 20:00, while Clün brings a mix of classical and electronic music to Racó Verd from 20:30 to 22:30.

Café Mambo continues its sunset sessions from 19:00, Cubanito hosts Salsero from 19:00 to 23:00 and Wi-Ki-Woo has its Sunset Supper Club from 20:00.

The Standard Ibiza also has its Solar Sessions from 18:00.

Jazz in Sant Francesc

The final Jazz a la Plaça event of the 2026 season takes place tonight at Plaça de la Constitució in Sant Francesc.

The concert begins at 22:00 and forms part of Formentera's Música a les Places programme.
