Joseph Capriati’s Metamorfosi has completed its 2026 residency at Amnesia Ibiza, closing its 14-date run with a sold-out party on Tuesday, September 29.

The final night brought Capriati together with Jamie Jones and Chris Stussy for a back-to-back-to-back set on the Terrace, marking the end of Metamorfosi’s 2026 season at the club.

A Sold-Out Final Night

The September 29 closing featured a three-way B2B between Joseph Capriati, Jamie Jones and Chris Stussy.

The Terrace lineup also included Marco Faraone and Marco Tropeano B2B Francesco Squillante, while the Club Room focused on techno with sets from Skizzo, Elisa Bee and Freddy K.

The final night followed a season that brought together artists from across house and techno, continuing Metamorfosi’s dual-room format at Amnesia.

Metamorfosi Returns to Amnesia

The 2026 season marked Capriati’s return to Amnesia with Metamorfosi after the concept spent its 2025 Ibiza season at Hï Ibiza.

The residency ran every Tuesday from June 30 through September 29, for a total of 14 dates.

Across the season, Capriati welcomed artists including Richie Hawtin, Seth Troxler, Maceo Plex, Mau P, Josh Baker, Ben Klock, Anfisa Letyago, Dubfire, Damian Lazarus, Cloonee and Fatima Hajji.

The programme also introduced a number of newer techno names, including Alarico, Serafina, Adiel and Quest.

Two Rooms, Two Sounds

One of the defining features of the 2026 residency was its division between the two main areas of Amnesia.

The Terrace leaned more heavily towards house and tech house, while the Club Room maintained a stronger techno focus.

That format allowed Metamorfosi to present different sides of its musical identity across the same night, with established artists sharing the programme with newer names.

The Story Continues at 528 Ibiza

Metamorfosi’s 2026 Amnesia closing was followed the next day by “The Day After” at 528 Ibiza on September 30.

The event began at 16:00 on the Garden Stage before moving indoors from 23:00, extending the Metamorfosi closing celebration beyond Amnesia.

Not Amnesia’s Final Party

It is important to distinguish the end of Metamorfosi’s residency from the end of Amnesia Ibiza’s season.

Amnesia’s 50th anniversary season continues with its 50th Closing Festival on Saturday, October 10. The celebration begins at 17:00 with an open-air programme in the club’s car park before continuing inside from 23:00.

The closing festival will feature more than 25 DJs across the outdoor Anniversary Area and three indoor spaces, including Joseph Capriati, Josh Baker, Groove Armada, Deborah De Luca, Nina Kraviz, Klangkuenstler and numerous Amnesia residents.

The main closing programme is already sold out, according to Amnesia, although a separate ticket for the outdoor Anniversary Area remains available.

For Metamorfosi, however, the 2026 chapter at Amnesia has now come to an end, closing with Capriati, Jamie Jones and Chris Stussy on September 29.
