Flamenco will take centre stage at Can Ventosa in Ibiza Town on Friday, 13 November 2026, with Inevitable herencia, a live performance bringing together Ibiza-born singer Verónica San Juan and Seville-born flamenco dancer Manuel de Lola.
The production brings together seven named performers, combining singing, flamenco dance and live instrumental music in a 90-minute performance celebrating the artistic influences, personal experiences and cultural heritage that have shaped the two leading artists.
Verónica San Juan and Manuel de Lola Share the Stage
At the heart of Inevitable herencia are two familiar names from Ibiza's flamenco scene.
Verónica San Juan is one of the island's recognised performers in flamenco, copla and sevillanas. Born to Andalusian parents, she began singing as a child at the Ses Salines bullring alongside her uncle Paco Sam. By the age of 11, she was already performing professionally.
Throughout her career, she has appeared on stages across Ibiza and spent several years as the voice of the former Casino de Ibiza. In 2024, she also delivered the opening speech for the Cala de Bou festivities.
Joining her is Manuel de Lola, a Seville-born flamenco dancer whose career includes several awards, among them recognition at the Concurso Nacional e Internacional de Baile Aniya La Gitana in Ronda.
Manuel de Lola has previously performed at several events across Ibiza, including an appearance at the Mirador del Ayuntamiento in August 2024 and the Cala de Bou festivities that same year. In November 2025, he also performed at Can Ventosa in Vereas Flamencas, a production presented for International Flamenco Day.
Seven Artists Come Together for Inevitable Herencia
The performance will feature a wider ensemble of musicians and artists accompanying the two principal performers.
The announced line-up includes:
-
Verónica San Juan: Singer.
-
Manuel de Lola: Flamenco dancer.
-
Juan de Pilar.
-
Luis Amador: Percussion.
-
José Ángel Muñiz: Guitar.
-
Antonio Ponce.
-
Ramsés Puente: Violin.
José Ángel Muñiz and Luis Amador have previously shared the stage with Manuel de Lola during performances in Ibiza.
Ramsés Puente brings another musical dimension to the production. Born in Santiago de Cuba, the Cuban violinist is based in Ibiza and performs as a soloist with the Orquestra Simfònica Ciutat d'Eivissa.
Together, the artists will create a performance built around the meeting of flamenco singing, dance and live instrumental music.
Flamenco Heritage Takes Centre Stage in Ibiza
The title Inevitable herencia reflects the artistic influences, personal experiences and decisions that shape the performers' creative identities.
The production brings together different musical and cultural backgrounds through flamenco, a Spanish art form recognised internationally for its distinctive combination of singing, dance and instrumental accompaniment.
For Ibiza audiences, the performance also provides an opportunity to experience two artists with established connections to the island's cultural and flamenco scene.
