Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike have retained the title of World’s No. 1 DJ Group in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs 2026, with the Belgian duo ranking No. 5 overall in this year’s poll.

The result was announced during the DJ Mag LIVE event at [UNVRS] Ibiza on Tuesday, October 6, where the full Top 100 DJs 2026 results were revealed.

The brothers remain the highest-ranked DJ group in the poll and have now secured the group award for a fifth consecutive year.

No. 5 overall

Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike placed No. 5 overall, one position lower than their No. 4 ranking in 2025.

Despite the movement in the overall Top 10, they remain the highest-ranked group in the poll and retain their dedicated World’s No. 1 DJ Group award.

The 2026 Top 10 was led by David Guetta at No. 1, followed by Martin Garrix, Anyma, Alok and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike.

A year of change for the duo

The latest result comes after a different year for the Belgian brothers.

Like Mike temporarily stepped away from touring during the summer to focus on his health, meaning Dimitri performed a number of dates without his brother.

Dimitri appeared at major events including Tomorrowland's Mainstage and also performed a surprise back-to-back set with Marlon Hoffstadt at The Gathering.

The brothers nevertheless continued working on music together and separately throughout the year.

New music with Marlon Hoffstadt

One of their biggest recent releases has been “Makina Time”, a collaboration involving Dimitri Vegas, Like Mike, Marlon Hoffstadt and DJ Konik.

The track became a major festival record and represents part of the duo's continuing willingness to explore sounds beyond the big-room EDM style with which they first became internationally known.

Other recent releases connected to the brothers include “Turn The Tide” with Pat B and Sylver, while Dimitri also released a remix of DJ Bountyhunter's “Woops”.

Dimitri continued performing solo

With Like Mike taking time away from touring, Dimitri maintained a busy performance schedule.

His solo appearances allowed him to continue representing the duo at major festival stages while Like Mike focused on his personal wellbeing.

Dimitri has also continued developing projects outside music. His creative work now includes an appearance in the upcoming 007: First Light video game and a remix of the James Bond theme.

Looking towards 2027

Despite the changes of 2026, the brothers are already looking ahead to performing together again.

Dimitri said he is particularly looking forward to having Like Mike back on stage in 2027.

The return would reunite the duo for their joint performances after a year in which Dimitri carried much of their live schedule alone.

Five consecutive years as the top DJ group

Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike's latest award continues a remarkable run in the Top 100 DJs poll.

The dedicated World’s No. 1 DJ Group award was introduced in 2022, and the Belgian duo has won it every year since.

Their 2026 result therefore extends their run to five consecutive group titles.

The brothers' position at No. 5 overall also places them ahead of every other DJ group in this year's ranking.

An Ibiza announcement

The award was presented at [UNVRS] Ibiza, where DJ Mag staged the 2026 Top 100 DJs LIVE event.

The night also featured performances from David Guetta, Lost Frequencies, Charlotte de Witte, Anyma, GORDO b2b Vintage Culture, ANASTAZJA and Korolova.

Guetta ultimately claimed the overall World's No. 1 DJ title for a record sixth time, while several other dedicated awards were presented, including Charlotte de Witte as World’s No. 1 Techno DJ, Armin van Buuren as World’s No. 1 Trance DJ and FISHER as World’s No. 1 House DJ.

For Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, however, the Ibiza ceremony delivered another familiar result: the brothers remain the World's No. 1 DJ Group, No. 5 overall in the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs 2026.
